The irony of calling someone a "lib-shit", over what is, in the grande scheme of things, a minor quibble, in the literal same sentence they talk about how people are dividing the population intentionally to control them.

Lmfao, you're the one dividing the population you unselfreflective dipshit. Grow up.

You need to actually use it and understand what it does before you clown on.

Try vibe coding a hello world project with the Opus models and Claude code. It's not perfect by any stretch, but to argue it has no use case is absurd.

I mean, no software developer is going to go back to completely not using LLMs after Claude Code.

They've literally been caught using distillation training off the American models. They undoubtedly do. Even the more efficient American models do.

No they're not.

The best Chinese models are good, but they're resoundingly outclassed by the likes of Claude.

And that's not to mention the Chinese models are trained off the American models, i.e. they can't exist without the American ones being developed first.

Talking total debt is somewhat meaningless.

The important number is the ratio between their loss and their revenue.

i.e. the convenience store down the street could operate at a loss before turning profitable, and accumulate far less than half the debt of iHeartRadio, but that doesn't mean the convenience store is the better long term investment. When it turns a profit, it's potential profit is far smaller than iHeartRadio's was.

Lmfao, look at this righteous edge lord.

Who needs to think things through, when you can just condemn someone who says anything "black" when you're on team "white".

I have no love for AI but I feel like the people clowning on this don't understand the most basic aspects of how businesses work.

It is very common to take losses early on and return a profit later.

Jesus fucking christ. If you do this, and exploit Ukraine while they are literally under the gun, the US will be dead to the rest of the western world.

I cannot express how hard you can go fuck yourselves.

The literal rest of my life will be spent trying to fuck over America and Americans. Fuck you, you selfish, coward, pieces of shit.

What is this publication and who finances it because this section is incredibly sus:

Copper use is not carved in stone. Hybrid cars, which pair small batteries with gasoline engines, need far less of the metal than fully electric vehicles.

Power grids that mix nuclear, wind, solar, and a pinch of natural-gas backup can slice the copper bill dramatically compared with battery-heavy systems.

“First of all, users can fact-check the study, but also they can change the study parameters and evaluate how much copper is required if we have an electric grid that is 20% nuclear, 40% methane, 20% wind, and 20% hydroelectric, for example,” Simon said. “They can make those changes and see what the copper demand will be.”

Like you think we can transition to an increasingly electrified world, where all power comes from electric utility lines, and you think our copper usage will be ... just in renewable power plants?

This reads like straight fossil fuel propaganda. In an electrified future the majority of copper use comes from distribution lines and products that use electricity not the type of power plants generating electricity.

Thank fucking god.

I got sick of the overhyped tech bros pumping AI into everything with no understanding of it....

But then I got way more sick of everyone else thinking they're clowning on AI when in reality they're just demonstrating an equal sized misunderstanding of the technology in a snarky pessimistic format.

Man, it's so wild how little we know about biology and how much we as a society spend on absolute, utter, bullshit, instead of figuring out how just the basics of us work.

I know it was never possible before modern computers, labs, and equipment, but we really should have like 1000x the amount of basic biological research going on that we do.

If it's shockingly easy to produce then just do it and then you can write a declarative headline that doesn't need to use the word "could". If you can't then I'm guessing it's not that shockingly easy.

What a fucking joke.

A 1 year prison sentence for an attempted terrorist attack? WTF IS WRONG WITH LITERALLY EVERYONE IN THIS STORY? How is everyone talking about this like the guy made a racist joke, and should be forgiven just cause he's old, and not like he literally just tried to murder 6 people because of their race?

Jesus Christ.

It's also a form free market distortion that actual economic conservatives should hate.

Rather than having firms compete for who can make the best product or service, advertising instead lets them compete based on who can best psychologically manipulate the population en masse.

It's a "rich get richer" mechanic that any halfway competent dev would've patched out for balance reasons a long time ago.
