They would give me a month free, then like 10 days, then only like 3 days, hoping I would forget and have to be charged for it. When they finally caught me out, I just told them to fuck off and deleted my account. Never liked their other predatory practices, like how they would plagiarise and sell existing products for dirt cheap and label them Amazon Basics... And then when companies would go out of business. They would bring up the prices. I guess you don't get that wealthy without stepping on a lot of people.

What worries me, is all the info from those conversations actually becoming public. I haven't fed it personal info, but I bet a lot of people do. Not only stuff you might tell it, but information fed from people you know. Friends, family, acquaintances, even enemies could say some really personal or downright false things about you to it and it could one day add that to public ChatGPT. Sounds like some sort of Black Mirror episode, but I think it could happen. Wouldn't be surprised if intelligence agencies already have access to this data. Maybe one day cyber criminals or even potential employers will have all this data too.

Sounds great! I've been happy with Ecosia currently. I tried Qwant, but I have strict privacy settings enabled in my browser and it says it couldn't get a secure connection. I'm sure it's 100% safe, but I just settled for Ecosia for now. Looking forward to trying out their new partnered search engine.
