Exactly! I'm new here (from Reddit) it's very clear that some of us new ppl are getting confused as to why instances are having to defed and are getting upset at the admins.
We are the reason!
The admins are working hard with the extra traffic and increased exposure to content that may not have previously been welcome in their communities.
My fellow Reddit refugees, post and comment on the content you want to see, not the drama and the uncertainty right now. Find your ppl in the new communities and start sharing and conversing like the good old days on Reddit.
Not for the rich oil tycoons. But yeah, for the brain washed masses it must be exhausting. But I think that only furthers their rage and obstinence. They'ed rather that than admin they've been fooled or used.
Yeah, unfortunately that does seem to be the problem. I'm not sure how to fix it without a meta-flange paradox stabilizer on the combobulator's sync couplers. But I've no idea where to begin with that.
Per Google... "An expat or expatriate is simply defined as a person who lives outside their native country. Similarly, an immigrant is a person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country. Only one distinction is made here – immigrants intend to stay in their new country indefinitely. Whether expats do or do not is unclear."
You could get a second static IP address from your ISP to keep it isolated from your home network. That may require additional hardware.
So yeah, probably cheaper to use a cloud based solution. Unless you want the experience of setting that stuff up.
