In the end, we're just training some non-artifical intelligence.

Gary Stevenson explains why this is, and why it's not gonna get better anytime soon.
It's doesn't even matter if they move away. The things we want to tax them on simply can't just move away. Gary puts it best, as always.
The founder of Nordwolle is famous for his rant about the German bureaucracy. Great guy.
wealth inequality worse than the French revolution
When the creator of the Revolutions podcast was asked about the one theme that follows every revolution, he said that it was wealth inequality.
If I remember correctly, the French revolution had three major elements that kicked it off the way it did: huge wealth inequality, a major event that hits the lower classes (in this case a drought that destroyed lots of crops and therefore caused a wheat shortage), and incompetent leadership that is unable to deal with said event. Looks like the US is getting there, step by step.
such as not trying to conquer the world
Imagine being so deluded as to try to frame the largest country on earth, Russia, as the victim here. How, according to your world view, have they become so big? Did the now-Russian ethnic minorities simply surrender their lands to be taken over by some Slavs in Moscow?
Honestly, you need to have a 10 minute conversation with a Russian to understand how utterly brainwashed they are. The majority of the Russians are rooting for an imperialist fashist.
This is facilitating that situation.
Facilitate what situation of exactly?
The sex is going to happen around that age, but as a parent it is still not your job to make it easy, yeah?
Why?
consequences of mistakes are still VERY HIGH
Not as high as letting your kid drive a car, for example, but you're still gonna let them, I suppose. Weird double standards.
Capitalism allows efficient use of resources
No. Free markets do. Socialist societies don't have to run on planned economies, they can just as well utilize free markets just like capitalism does. It's a misunderstanding that I often encounter in these discussions, the media over the past decades has pushed to associate planned economic structures with socialism and it's hard to disassociate these two now.
I do not really believe that there is such a thing as a "fate worse than death"
What about unimaginable suffering before one's certain death? Would this not qualify as a worse fate than death?
I don't really have a strong opinion on this topic, but one example comes to mind that shows that many people don't act according to your maxime. Have you ever seen those battlefield suicides that are filmed by the drones in Ukraine? I'm not going to link them here, but they are plentyful. So, so many soldiers, many of them wounded, decide to take their own life to avoid going through an experience that they probably view as worse than death. I just think it's interesting and worth considering.
