One of the more uncomfortable parts of the anti-sex movement is how much of it is an unholy union of sex-negative feminists and social conservatives. It's distressing how far people can get just throwing around accusations of trafficking and child exploitation.

Meanwhile the Catholic Church is still a thing...

You got the typical recommendations already, my advice would be to avoid most of the niche distros. I just don't think they offer much over something that is more mainstream, especially for your first foray.

The first distro I ran for any significant length of time was Fedora.

Oh man, YTMND is so old that they pre-date the use of the word meme. They were called fads.

This really rustled my jimmies! This is Coagulation, from Halo 2.

People getting Halo games wrong?! On my Lemmy?

I think we shouldn't expect to see the same sort of migration from Twitter to Mastodon like we did for Reddit to Lemmy. Because of network effects, Mastodon will have a much harder time attracting refugees. What you can hope for is more of a slow drip as Twitter users get fed up with the platform. Every migrant to Mastodon makes it that much easier for the remaining Twitter users to move as well.

I'm hopeful but I wouldn't count on it.

It's mostly the same map haha.

Look at Clonezilla. It's a specialized Linux distro that does some interesting things, including cloning.

When I tried it I found it confusing and didn't feel like figuring it out at the time so I just did a clean install ahaha. YMMV.

Don't forget Halo 2's U-shaped snow map Containment. It was pretty Sidewinder-like but wasn't a remake.

This game totally deserves better. It's a technical marvel in the things that it does but damn does its performance feel lackluster.

I don't think 30fps is acceptable in 2023 and even then the game has noticeable moments where it can't keep a consistent frame rate.

The author just has it out for the cute tomboy.

Hell yeah, I'm ready for whatever wild shit this guy is going to sprout that has no chance of becoming reality!

I kinda dig the Halo CE art style. It was simple but really suited those massive Forerunner structures. There was a scale that the sequels didn't have.

It both feels so long ago but like it was yesterday...

Meanwhile, FromSoft is out here releasing massive bangers of a game every two years.

I followed you on Mastodon ahaha.

Maybe it does go somewhere!

God I hope! It sounds too good to be true. I anticipate a slow, painful death.
