Ah, so if you're autistic and poor then you're an "introvert", got it.
Sanction the US.
Laws like this are great for these companies. This is how they will justify removing access to useful information and putting it behind paywalls. But oh your need a prescription so now the insurance companies are involved (spoiler: they already are) and so you don't even have access to pay out the nose for medical information.
Then when Google search has been completely replaced with AI, you won't even be able to search for medical information.
Healthcare companies aren't about to provide anything for free.
Could it be best way to provide legal liability for how to comply with vague and easy to misinterpret badly-written law is to have a process underway at your organization to examine it? Just move slowly till the bigger guys lawyers figure it out?
There is a TNG novel that features the Breen. I believe the suits are wired into their nervous systems and while they have diversity among them, I think 4 or 5 species in their confederation, they stay in suit as a way to unify without embracing diversity.
They're sort of like anti IDIC, so their suits that they are dependent on keep them homogenous enough to get along.
It's all publicity stunts. Nothing wrong with publicity stunts, except when you raise hundreds of thousands of dollars with the Kickstarter you never deliver on.
The thing about built-in enshittification up front is that there is no guarantee that it doesn't get worse from there.
With Matrix.org not only can you do this, you can actually log into your account from multiple devices and stream video from all of them simultaneously. My mind was blown. Multiple angles of my ugly mug, live.
We had an amazing universe of novels Paramount needed to end so they could complain that we didn't like what they shoveled at us.
True but Heinlein's creations were just more focused versions of stuff from the pulp era 20 years earlier.
This one looks like the 2016 onward Doom suit.
Consider moving to a better city for young people for a few years.
I don't have words for how much of a useless boomer answer this is.
So there's not even a dev team for this open source project, and there's already a salary? How does that work for open contributions? Do contributors get paid or are we paying to lock the project into a single developer project?
Cooool. When I read the Starship Troopers book I always wished we had gotten to see the whole power suit thing.
Sir did you pay for that medical advice though? That's what these laws will eventually enforce. Prescription advice.
What's wrong with using the banks website? I think you are describing using bank apps, no?
Right? These libs will never understand that poor people are poor because they are too lazy to work enough. /s
Throwing your old non-AI tech away isn't going to save the planet. It's going to remove options of what you can do to get around surveillance in the future. And contribute to landfills.
Throwing your shit out that you brought is the core tennet of consumerism.
No, keep the shit you bought and keep it well.
Thank you for sharing.
I guess my takeaway from the rest of the comments could be that so many people have no problem making friends. The world is full of places to meet people, and social situations arranged for that. And it's all affordable. Guess I just live in the wrong region since this is apparently a non-problem for so many people.
Guess all these lonely single young people are to blame for their own problems. That must be it. /s
Also you can download commet today and the alternative is promises.
The screen sharing for games is not bad, it depends what you're used to. I've had some Discord headaches before 2022, but game sharing was always the main thing they had even when almost nothing else worked that well.
Also depends on your connection. The shittification throttling on non Nitro accounts tends to screw me over at home.
thanks for using Leebra!
