That's because a canceled stop does not count for the "delayed" statistic, which they optimize for. It's a great example of how a metric becoming a goal makes it a terrible metric!

Since we are nitpicking: "show all posts in reverse chronological order" is not an algorithm, it's a description of an outcome of an algorithm. The algorithm is the specific steps the computer needs to take to make it so. There can be different algorithms that sort posts chronological, all with the same outcome.

Afaik that's a myth. People of all classes, always washed themselves and tried their best not to smell. Especially in the middle ages where it was widely believed that bad smells transmit disease.
