Plumbing. I could live without almost every modern comfort but a flushable toilet

The gamification is genuinely so helpful. You can get it through other apps like habitica with some setup. I have ADHD too but I found Duolingo good for habit building but jot the greatest for actual language learning
Our fields are close enough that i can comment on this.
When I'm looking at your resume here's what i gather about you. Student, with no relevant job experience who has done school projects that might indicate alignment with what we're doing.
The problem with resumes like these are that I have no proof that you're capable and its not fair of me to expect proof because that comes with experience.
What I usually do is look for passion projects. Anything that indicates that you have a genuine interest in the field that i can follow up on. Then I'll talk to you in an interview about that to confirm your problem solving skills.
Pretty much everything else can be taught.
Lets say you configured a nas server at your house or self hosted something like pihole or jellyfin (career specific) that stands put way more than a class project.

This has been a thing for at least a few years. Luckily last I checked (pre pandemic) it hasn't taken off bc
So probably too dangerous to actually take off any time soon. Iirc a Chinese scientist tried it and got sent to jail, seems to be a pretty universal thing
Protondb will be your best friend here. If I were you I'd look up the games you want to play on there and check peoples comments on how they got them running. Almost everything out of box using steams proton tools but often it needs tweaking. Depending on how much you want to play a game it might not be worth the trouble to setup. For instance I stay away from every live service game now. You should also check out the os people are using on protondb to make sure it works for you I use arch (btw) so I won't take instructions from a Debian setup if I can find one with a similar os.
Worth pursuing and you sound experienced enough to get it set up. Idk about modding though that can be painful to get setup BC of how wine/proton work.
It is. But in your defence at this point it only matters when something goes wrong. And that's getting pretty rare.
I think it's why there's such a clear divide between people who "just use Linux" and those who don't. Modern computers hide almost all information that would let you figure stuff out on your own and Linux makes you figure stuff out like once a month.
But all that means is that your choices are more and more limited. And it's how Microsoft is able to sneak such predatory practices into their OS. You can't go anywhere else
I'm 90% sure this whole fancy chefs knife thing is a scam. My knife is the cheapest one I could find. Been 15 years and it still does the job. I mean you have to sharpen it but that's about it. Granted I'm also not a chef so this is for daily cooking
Distro hopping gets addictive and honestly if you're happy with where you are i wouldnt recommend you switch anything.
Buuuuut if you're going to do it anyways EndeavourOS. Its arch for begginers you can branch out to more complex things if you want but the install is painless and works out the box. Arch is in general VERY customizable but its a double edged sword so having guardrails during the setup is helpful.
If you're willing to go a bit out of hip hop you'd probably love Dijon. Our tastes seem pretty similar. I'm assuming you listen to Freddie Gibbs? If not Bandana for sure collab with madlib and it sounds amazing
thanks for using Leebra!
