In a parallel universe, people are watching LotR movies one at a time, and not the entire extended trilogy in one go. Pathetic.

I hate to break it to you, but by Ubisoft's terms and conditions, this is not your game. 🫤 you have never owned a copy of it.

This post is unfortunately quite misleading : OpenCollective is not shutting down! The news is just that the Open Collective Foundation, a fiscal host on the Open Collective Platform, is going to be dissolved and that collectives using this fiscal host will have to transfer their funds to another fiscal host.

Ha. Ha ha. Ha ha ha. Nein.

This is not a great comparison tbh. Unity are not distributing a resource, you could rather compare them to a company building the motor for the car you use. Even as the end customer, their product is clearly perceivable and distinguishable from competitors' products. You don't need to build cars to have an opinion on Unity motors and the ethics of their business. And if they fuck every contractor over and abuse their power in the market to retroactively charge additional fees for every time someone starts a car with their motor in it, of course you would be directly hit with the consequences as a customer. Therefore, it is justified to not leave this discussion to car manufacturers, but to 1. let unity motors know that they can go fuck themselves and 2. to support more ethical motor manufacturers in the future by buying cars built with them.

This is hilarious. Just the general tone of the articles in that magazine has the sort of edgy millennial pseudo-cool that we all loved back then 🤭

Definitely yunohost for me

Big +1 for Forgejo, also they are actively working on implementing Federation, i.e. in the future Forgejo servers will be able to exchange information as a federated network, just like good old Lemmy 😊 If you want to try the toolchain (Forgejo+Woodpecker CI), it's what Codeberg.org (run by the German nonprofit organization of the same name) offers freely.

Ich sag das nicht häufig, aber... Schöne Nachricht!

How about no?

thanks, now I am horny.

Feuerfuchs, ich liebe dich! ❤️ Verzeih mir bitte meine einjährige Abstinenz.

Bitte nich

This was a fun read! Bear in mind that this game has been 100 % multiplayer-focused, I have great memories of playing this online without ever even touching the campaign.
