@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social ooooh I would love for it to also use molly-socket so that I could use it for Signal notifications https://github.com/...

@roguetrick you've posted a reply in a Lemmy thread from your kbin account.
@QuazarOmega @ada

@Jilanico you're seeing this Mastodon reply though. hi!

that's one of Fediverse's premises. I'm writing this reply from my Mastodon account.

@DamnCatOnMyDesk does it work the same way following a Lemmy community works, though? because when you do that, you get every single comment made in that community boosted into your timeline. not optimal.
@cloaker @tauonite @governa

@tomasz jak ktoś jeszcze nie zna, to polecam Kapelę ze Wsi Warszawa dla podobnych klimatów.

@zark yeah, Matrix is a federated protocol, but it's separate from the Fediverse.

and honestly, using Lemmy with a Mastodon account isn't a great experience currently. you can search for Lemmy communities on Mastodon and they'll show up as accounts that you can follow (for example, you can search for @technology), but they'll boost all the comments, not just posts, from that community to your Mastodon feed, so all you get is a huge mess. hopefully it gets refined in the future.

@iameru you can reply to Lemmy threads with your Mastodon account and (sort of) follow communities as well.
