Technically Plex is a paid closed source but self hosted thingy. I think the line is a bit blurry on this since I wouldn't mind people posting about Plex even though I use Jellyfin. However, advertising it would be a nono.

I guess it's hard to explain how a program is a work of art and use the doctor's note analogy but calligraphy and readability are definitely factors. Maybe if we'd consider a hypothetical note where you can't do anything yourself but an idiot intern has to read it and follow the instructions exactly on what to do?
When I have a ritual day planned out and it gets cancelled for some reason.
If I have a full day with no responsibilities I'd do gym, eat at fast food place, get some coffee, go home, shower, watch anime where I walk/run between each activity.
If by any reason these plans get cancelled or derailed by something I forgot I promised to do or just urgent need I'll be very upset the rest of the day even though it'd be at most 10-15% reduction in a whatever or I'd have to drive/take bus between activities.
Another thing that really grinds my gears is when there's a scheduled time, clear path towards being on time and things get added last minute. Think of having a flight the day after, bag is packed, sleep is scheduled for good rest but for some reason some task gets added right before the 1h wind down before bed that adds 1.5h of delay to sleeping. Or just grabbing coffee/food before passing passport control etc.
I think cars should be outlawed in population centers with exceptions for product deliveries, mobility scooters and e-bikes. If you want your ikea furniture into your apartment you need to either fit it into a cargo bike setup or get it delivered by a company with a delivery license.
I hate cars
Oh my god, this resonates hard. When I go over and the plan is to play board games but somehow it ends up having a group of 7 where the ideal group is 4 and I don't have 7 Wonders to play. It always ends up just drinking and talking because the group is too big to do anything.
Just to repeat whatever other people are saying here: Join any scheduled activity that happens weekly.
You can do yoga, spinning, sports when they have 30+ groups, dancing, pottery class, painting class, hiking groups etc.
You can also convert other friend sources to board game groups via house parties where you have easy games first then bring out harder stuff later.
I'll personally shun you. Programming by hand is an art form, there are infinite ways to solve the same problem and resilience, security and UX are all spectrums. Programming style is so unique that in a company of 10 people without a linter you can kinda tell who wrote what based on style alone.
Take an upvote, this is exactly what OP requested.
Empire total war on release, the battle AI was absolute garbage to the point where you can just start as the Netherlands, walk over to Paris and take their country.
Before everyone researches fire by rank you could just spread out the infantry and have 2x firepower. Cavalry charges straight into you, pathfinding was so bad that you'd have a single column of men moving through a wide area. Fucking loved it though, it was a grand strategy spectacle and naval battles felt intense.
I had fun unlocking the pirates via config file edit and spamming out general units from a single buccaneer sword infantry and took over all of the Americas.
Honestly, that was a perfectly reasonable question and you're being rude. Pretty much every programmer knows what a filesystem is but a filesystem framework is not clear.
I would have pitched in with questions and suggestions but since you're being a dick I won't.
I used to only eat mild moldy cheese if at all then at 16 my girlfriend of the time got ugly ass blue cheese and said "just put jam on it" I tried it and it's was so good. I've liked moldy cheese ever since, extra moldy/strong cheese are all good. There's always a ratio of jam to cheese that tastes good, that ratio also keeps going down towards zero.
US is a very flawed democracy, it's a bad example. Unlike most European countries you can't just vote both out so if both parties agree on something the public opinion doesn't matter.
There are oligarchic elements in all democracies but the purpose of a rep democracy is that you can elect the most qualified person to do the job of sorting all the governing out full time.
To further illustrate the point, most votes for the presidency of the US just flat out don't matter. You can't even vote for your preferred candidate since there's no runoff/ranked choice election in either primaries or presidential election and each state is a winner takes all so republicans in New York don't get a say nor do Dems in Alabama.
