A good reminder of how temporary things are. Makes you ponder about what truly matters.

I like his slogan: "The world needs more whimsy". You see it even here in this thread where half the comments can't focus on how amazing and hilarious the banana car is and instead make it about their disdain for police.
It would be awesome if more people did this and the world looked more like Richard Scarry's books!
As someone with a less than honorable father myself, I hope that the next generation can pull away from doing wrong, evil things. I know that I've tried to! There's still hope for Barron, even if his father has set a poor example.
I tried out this OS last year and really loved it, until I went on a road trip and couldn't use Android Auto. This is huge and will make GrapheneOS an extremely attractive option to privacy minded people.

The ultra wealthy keep their salaries low so they can avoid paying taxes. They also use this as a form of white washing their reputation that people who don't understand how money works will buy.
There are actually special structures that aren't even available to most people for ultra high earners called non qualified deferred compensation plans that help them avoid taxes even harder than most ordinary people can.
They do everything they can to pay as little in taxes as they can while they hoard up as much wealth as they can.
I guarantee you that the Wyoming Game and Fish department is doing everything it can in its power to throw the book at this guy and that they are disgusted by him. They're likely being very careful not to make mistakes and hand out information they're not legally allowed to.

I used to donate but have since switched to other more needing causes.
I don't know about where you live but in my town the Catholics run the largest food pantry. During this latest SNAP crisis they were crucial to the community. Sure there's some hypocrisy somewhere I'm sure but there always will be in any collection of people.
What's more important is instead of being cynical, to just get out there and help them yourself. Sure call it out, but in my experience a lot of folks that make statements like this are usually just on the sidelines not contributing.
When companies start to focus too much on growth usually they start to lose sight of their values and greed begins to take over. That said I just checked their ad policy and while they do physical ads, it's still a pretty reasonable policy.
They still won't be showing up on random YouTubers videos like Nord
Really it's basically the best search engine you don't have to host yourself. No ads, you can pin, increase ranking, decrease or outright block certain sites. You can search 100% anonymously with tokens.
Their search engine is their primary product, but yeah they play a lot with AI making little things like this.
I have a "midsize" SUV and went on vacation with seven people, and it could hardly hold all of us even with a luggage rack on the hitch. We rented a minivan at our destination, and it EASILY fit all seven people and luggage with room to spare and was more comfortable. It also was a hybrid and got > 30mpg. Definitely wanting to rethink that SUV purchase now.
