This was a predicted outcome, at least for the larger subreddits. Expect to hear much more of this in the coming couple of days.

Gods of the Internet, with this offering I ask you to summon Cerf, Torvalds, and Stallman so that they may witness this curse. By the spirits of my ancestors I curse Reddit. Let its profits wither. Let its networks crack. Let it see its legions of users disperse. Gods of the Inferno, I offer to you its networks, its mouthpiece, its servers, its "free" speech, its hands, its liver, its black heart, its stomach. Gods of the Inferno, let me see Reddit suffer deeply, and I will rejoice and sacrifice to you.

If ever Lemmy adds Awards "The Dildo of Consequences" needs to be among the first wave.

May the Earth open up and swallow them both whole.

It certainly will eventually, all things do. The real question is what Reddit looks like after.
I suspect it will be something quite different, and something I want no part of any more.

Some of them were holding Trump flags

I struggle to find words to express the stupidity of this. Even dumber than the same happening in the USA and that is frightfully stupid.

Queen Romana (queen of Canada in case you missed the news) had her insane followers attempt to arrest some police officers. The video should be put to the Benny Hill music.

It is about damn time.

May Lady Justice judge him harshly.

Not even then.

For me the Lemmyverse fills the same space. Like Usenet back in the Before Time. Even if Reddit were to do a complete 180/mea culpa I would no longer have a need for them, and the longer it goes on the more users will be comfortable here.

Its not rocket surgery. It only seems complicated because it is new. Once you get past the sign up phase and figure out how to find Communities it is easy-peasy.

With fewer comments you feel like you might actually be heard instead of lost in the mix.

They absolutely had the Panther's number start to finish. Well done boys.

As a Kings fan it was great to see Martinez hand the Cup to Quick.

Shamelessly borrowed from HBO series "ROME"

Krita is pretty amazing. I got both of my daughters started with it when they expressed interest in doing art. Both of them have used it almost exclusively for years (both in HS now) and produce some great work. They try other tools recommended by friends but keep going back to Krita because it has all the tools they need.

Any issues tax wise? I will be doing that starting in August.

Perhaps not the most practical of attacks, but still an impressive feat.

The fascists ability to appropriate cool things makes be so sad and frustrated. I love history and Roman history in particular. They are so familiar as humans but at the same time alien in their views if society and the world. Makes it really fascinating.

nazis poison everything they touch

Vending machines like this are reliant on foot traffic. It would be viable in some American cities, but the majority of the country is car dependent.

Someone should let him know about Mineclone2

I ran a server for me and my kids for a few years and Minetest/Mineclone2 are an awesome free alternative.

Soon to be 4 more. Moving my family to BC in August!

He gets his fashion advice from Zaphod Beeblebrox...

Great driver. Questionable dresser.
