Never thought I'd see the day when President Bush was fondly remembered.

I'll check it out. Anything Post-Punk, New Wave, EBM is my jam. But I'm also heavily into industrial, metal and some punk. I'll have to start sharing some my favs here sometime.

I've never heard this song. So up my alley, ty OP.

I feel like such an idiot for saying this, but I’ve never thought of ads as environmental vandalism. But that’s exactly what they are.

Was about to say the same. Unthinkable, I never even thought of subscribing in the first place!

Definitely playing this tonight! I loved the PS1 MoH releases.

I never even considered that this was being done. Thankfully I rarely use those services.

Seeing this kind of news hurts. I’ve had a lifelong interest in computers and technology. I’ve made a career of it and live fairly comfortably because of it. But this makes me certain the positives don’t outweigh the negatives. And I wish we could go back to the 90s/2k when we’re certain this tech would lead to the betterment of the world. Sort of bearing my heart here but technology sucks now.

It'll be awhile. They've been in a development state since the launch of the original pinephone in 2020. And even the pinephone is going to be unavailable in two years as pine64 is ceasing sales on it. Not trying to crap on devs. I bought two pinephones (Braveheart & Mobian bundle). Tested multiple distros and excitedly followed their progress for years. I never had a reliable working phone in that four year span. IMO SailfishOS and Post Market OS are the two most usable mobile distros. SailfishOS now requires an ongoing subscription to use which I don't like.

lol. Nice April Fools post. I think the cruelest tech related Aprils fools post I’ve seen claimed that Apple was open sourcing their x86 MacOS versions. Creating a Mac binary compatible BSD distro. That really hurt. I love OSx/2010s MacOS. Nothing on Linux or BSD side comes close. I am really holding out hope for RayvnOS.

It kills me that this was initially shoved out there as a safe alternative to smoking. No actual research, just trust us bro. And of course all this starts coming out and some people are still of the opinion that its safe due to the initial marketing push. Money at all costs, fuck capitalism.

EDIT: Fixed a grammar error

What states aren’t trying to pull this bullshit? There have to be at least a few.

This is why I have my ps2 back under the tv with free mcboot and a hard drive full of game back ups.

I was “given” this game with a GPU purchase. I have launched it a handful of times. The game is just so pointless, I'm never engaged. I’m not excited about anything in the game. Story, gameplay, or setting (vibes) do not interest me in the slightest. And I’m a person who genuinely enjoys everything from the STALKER series. One of the most difficult and monotonous gameplay loops. And I cannot find it in me to like anything about Starfield. Don’t waste your money even if it’s at a discount. Find some cool Immersive Sim on Itch, you’ll be much more entertained. Buying this at anytime is giving Bethesda the wrong message, nobody wants this.

Picked up kickboxing and lost 30lbs

Rather than just run some fucking cable like we already have for the grid. It’s determined that we should put a bunch of future space junk into our atmosphere. Even more frustrating is that we can’t recover anything from them, all the resources being wasted on something we can’t even recycle.

That is a fair assessment, I thankfully never picked up a smoking habit. If vaping got some folks to quit smoking then it did serve as an efficient off ramp. I’ve watched close relatives wither from lung cancer, wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Hope you’re in good health and spirits.

Break stuff and figure things out, take chances and have fun. You've got time. You'll figure it out.

NICE

That looks amazing.
