There needs to be a tech workers union. The abuse from employers needs to end. Especially the endless free overtime.

They should have a criminal charge for crimes against the economy. They did this to us. They made it this way. There needs to be tangible justice.

We should make a shame/do not trust list.

I've been telling people for years, Russia most certainly influenced the outcome of the US elections because they have a huge interest in placing inept, incompetent, easily manipulated fools in power, in their "enemy" countries.

It wouldn't surprise me if they had something to do with an actor becoming president of Ukraine. They had plans to take Ukraine, and they didn't want a real politician in power when they tried it.

A smack on the hand is simply not enough. They need to be brought up on criminal charges for "crimes against the economy".

They took millions of middle class citizens and made them poor, for no reason other than greed to be even richer. At their level of wealth, being richer won't even slightly effect their living conditions.

At the point that greedy corporate vultures realized that people don't perceive or completely understand the privacy you're giving up in exchange for a few percent off your order, which you better believe has already been jacked up to compensate for the discount.

GrapheneOS protects your privacy, so if the companies pushing their apps can't harvest your data, they see no reason to let you use the app to get your discount.

If they can't trick you, they don't want you playing their game.

It should be illegal to intentionally misrepresent goods for sale. It's a blatant form of fraud.

To add a little more context, I worked at a corporate marketing firm for 16 years, and I can see through their bullshit ulterior motives like a superpower.

The US is heading into a society where ALL corporations will have their own "loyalty" cards, which you present at time of payment for your discount, which actually serves to track your consumer habits (through being linked to your personal information like name, email address, phone number, physical address, etc).

Eventually, as this opt-in, privacy-invasive trend goes unregulated by our government (due to corporate infiltration of our government's regulatory agencies, the term being "regulatory capture". Learn this word, you will see it on your exam later.), what we see as advertised prices will begin to only apply to those with loyalty cards, the hidden meaning being that the sale price is contingent upon providing your private data. The corporations will pour millions into researching the smallest possible discount which will convince you to participate. Make no mistake, rest assured this is by design, the various industries have colluded, directly or indirectly, during this greedflation era to make it so financially difficult to exist, and have made us all so desperate to get by, we are everything but forced into their privacy disclosure program because we need every little bit that helps.

Goodbye privacy.

Say goodbye to the days of traditional, old-fashioned "here's a sale, here's the money" type of transaction. The buzzards in corporate finance department have found yet another incrementally more efficient way of extracting even more profit from you during the sale process. The era of loyalty cards/proprietary corporate apps is coming fast and hard, so get used to it because it won't be going anywhere but further up your ass. I see these trends and this is ultimately why I left my corporate career. Once I saw it's cold unquenchable heart of greed, I didn't want to use my talent to further stoke the flames to revive the capitalistic greedfest that consumed the 80s. The only difference is that in the 80s, they lacked the technology, government policy, and the understanding of the socioeconomic mathematical models in order for the 1% to plunge us deeper into this hellscape we enjoy today.

I'm very familiar with Florida's rules about this. You can have a driver's license just fine and not be required to pay anything. The scenario you're worried about is if you have a driver's license and a car registered and tagged (license plate) at the DMV. If you have a valid license plate and no insurance, the DMV either wants the valid plate back, or you're forced to get car insurance, or else your driver's license will be suspended. They do this to prevent uninsured people from driving around with valid tags (license plates), basically by getting insurance, registering the vehicle with the DMV to get a valid plate, and then canceling the insurance or letting it lapse, in order to "appear" like a valid driver.

Additionally, if you have a vehicle in your driveway and no valid license plate, you can be cited by the local government's code enforcement department, for having an unregistered (junk) vehicle in your driveway. I don't remember exactly what the citation was for, but I've received one when I was young and first getting into the car hobby. I'm a car enthusiast and I have always had multiple vehicles, and have been told by my city I had to either register the car, get it out of view (I think getting it covered up with a car cover counts, but they really want you to put it in a garage), or get rid of it. Some municipalities don't care, some care and don't enforce it, and some do enforce this.

Also, a car insurance company wants to know about every licensed driver in the household, because they could potentially be sharing cars with you. You don't want to tell the insurance company that you have roommates or they'll require you to add them to your car insurance policy, which will be very costly. If they somehow find out, just tell them their information is old and that the individual has recently moved out of the house.

If you have any other questions or if I've forgotten something, let me know and I'll give you the answer.

This concept needs to spread. Those record profits and the consolidation of wealth is a real-life exploit (a hack) of capitalism. These types of situations were never intended by the visionaries that designed capitalism. This entire clusterfuck of 1% having 99% of the money was never intended by design, nor seemed like a plausible situation to need to design protections for when the economy started getting destroyed by this situation. As the sickness of greed among policymakers grew, they punched holes in the system in order to exploit the mechanics of the capitalism to collect virtually limitless money while simultaneously denying other less privileged people not "in the know" the chance to do the same.

Does anyone remember the original Super Mario Brothers, where you could get crowns, basically giving you more lives than you could possibly use? These capitalist hackers found a way to get crowns at the expense of the 99%, and nobody has any clue or organized any way to stop this hack/exploit from ruining it for everyone else.

Capitalism has been hacked. If the system administrators don't manually intervene and redistribute wealth, we are just going to keep circling the drain until it's all over like a game of Monopoly where everyone except one entity is completely bankrupt.
