If you have money to spend (and THAT much), you can still pirate, but if you pirate without trying to fund the source of your art and tools, you're a mega asshole. Especially if you have as much money as this dude claims to have. You can find the creators of your games online, find their ko-fis, their patreons. Where there's a will there's a way
It's baffling how foreign relations 101 gets completely thrown out the window by this shining idiot. It is SO important to establish good trade and relations with your bordering countries, and what does this guy do? The exact opposite.
The fact that we're in the age of tech overlords and in some places people and "medical professionals" STILL don't know the basics of female anatomy is fcking baffling.
Virginity tests are BS. Not everyone has a hymen. Sometimes your hymen breaks doing random sex-unrelated shit. Jfc.
So one summer while me and my cousin were broke and bored, we decided to pimp out her feet as she has crazy long toes and apparently some foot fetish dudes enjoy that niche.
I set up an Instagram, we decided that I would be the manager and media representative (AKA answer the messages on the account for her) and she would provide the goods (long toes)
One dude started messaging the account praising her toes and I would of course be as courteous as possible. Soon enough we got him to place an order. Only problem was, he only used cashapp to send money, something not available in our country, which should have stopped us initially but we tried finding a workaround.
Where we (or I) fucked up? He said he wanted to see the video before sending any money.
I, a dumbass, sent the video.
Never heard back from him.
Thankfully the video wasn't even of significant production value (very clearly an amateur job) and the only thing sacrificed was the dignity of my cousin's toes.
Safe to say that discouraged us and we haven't attempted to do that again since.
Ah, I sure do love never being able to find reliable information on games because honest reviews and helpful content is drowned in a sea of AI low-effort slop that can't even sort videogames into proper categories (no, Overwatch is not an MMORPG) or low-effort undisclosed ads
An example as if I was talking to you: "I'll wack you like an octopus" which technically already describes the action, however traditionally in my country after catching octopus in order to properly kill them and soften them up, fishermen basically smack/wacked them on the ground maniacally.
And I think it's become such a popular figure of speech because that mental image is hilarious and I love using it.
As an environmental science major (graduating in a few months) no and NO. I won't touch up on the things others have commented already, but it's ludicrous to suggest that grassroots internet spaces are more detrimental than large centralized corporate-owned platforms. Small internet efforts are a lot more conscious about how much space their activities take up, how much energy is spent to run it and how to minimize costs. Large internet platforms that are so spam-riddled and inflated with bullshit they will NEVER be more efficient. The companies that run them won't benefit from real person and genuine content traffic. Not to mention that the data-hogging these companies are doing and the numerous background processes they're running have a footprint of their own.
Tell this dingus to go outside... or rather inside an indie web community
