He didn't sanitize names, addresses, or active locations of the individuals involved in the work he was exposing. He made each of them a direct target.
Most people who are critical of him from an educated place instead of one based on feels do so because of that. That wasn't necessary to get his point across, it was sloppy and reckless, and completely unnecessary. People who call him a terrorist usually are the ones who believe there's no way you could be so reckless and instead attribute it to malicious ulterior motives of trying to get people killed.

I just throw the seasoning packet away, never used it at all. Just use the bean mix itself, it's really good, HOWEVER be aware that some of the "beans" are actually lentils, and they break down into a mush faster than others.
If you cook the beans a long time in your soup as I do then it gets REALLY bad looking. We call it "ugly soup" because it's ugly AF but DELICIOUS.

This kind of thing can be so hard for men. As a society we talk about barriers between fathers and sons and it should be celebrated when we can overcome them to help young men navigate adolescence in healthy ways while feeling like they have support.
Your mental misgivings about what people might think are echoes of your own upbringing. You don't have to tell people anyways, it's between you and your son, if you have concerns about what people might think. Honestly some would think it crossed a line, but it didn't, and you know better than anyone that it was healthy and innocent. So if you want to you can keep it to yourself, but personally I wouldn't hide it. Not saying to bring it up randomly unprompted, but imo it should be something that you shouldn't worry about discussing in the correct contexts BECAUSE we need more people to vocalize and hear that it's ok, to continue breaking down those barriers. Caveat that with all recognition of respect for your son's privacy, which again falls back on what I mentioned about context.

Um, TPMs for sure provide meaningful security. Maybe their use is implemented poorly a lot of the time, AND they can be abused to hold control over hardware you've purchased, but low level exploits are for sure a thing and TPMs and other dedicated hardware security modules (for enterprise) most definitely serve a purpose.

AR-15s are everything you said, but just because you take this one specific model rifle it off the market doesn't mean there aren't thousands of lightweight semi automatic rifles that are cheap and just as capable to buy instead. They might not be the gun owner's version of LEGO, but they're just as available and just as lethal.
If someone wants to be a mass shooter they have unlimited options in the USA. AR-15s are just so common you see them more. Starting this decade about 1/4 of the firearms produced in the USA are AR-15s.
If 1/4 the cars sold in the USA were Corollas because they're cheap and easy to drive, would banning Corollas in Maryland reduce car wrecks? No, people would just drive Camrys or Civics or whatever and still drive like idiots.
Server equipment is not on any normal burglar's list of items to nab. It's such a low risk I think it's completely not worth worrying about.
It's incredibly unlikely they'll know what they're looking at in the first place, and won't be assed to carry out heavy switches and PC gear "just in case" to look it up later. They want to get in, check rooms and closets, drawers, etc and GTFO before you come home or a neighbor notices. Computers aren't as expensive as they used to be. Gaming laptops might look attractive, but other than that you're fine.
They want jewelry, cash, guns, good tools, silver, modern game consoles, expensive bicycles, etc. These are all things that are easy to carry and pawn or sell well on the street. Nobody is selling switch gear at a pawn shop or to random people, so even if they know the value of what they're looking at (extremely unlikely) they'll leave it because it's too hard to fence.
If you're that worried about theft then set up good full disk encryption and have off-site backups of your data (should do that anyways) but you don't need to worry about physical security at home, at least not specifically in regards to your home lab.
Businesses are at much higher risk for hardware theft, from employees or from others that are targeting the locations specifically because they DO understand the value and have a way to offload the gear, but those same people won't be randomly breaking into people's houses hoping they've got Cisco gear in a closet somewhere.
When I was younger I went to a party at some random girl's house that my bro was trying to get with. A few of us there, we all got shit faced. Made food, drank a ton, music, the works.
Girl had a dog. Small thing, maybe some kind of pug mix? I don't know. Didn't have the really messed up airway but it was close.
I love dogs, I love animals in general. I usually will hang out with a dog at someone's house more than the people. This dog was super hesitant to hang out though, the girl said she was just really timid around men, always had been. That's ok. I tried to break the ice through the night but it never took, doggie was always hesitant of me. Very very unusual, animals generally take to me very quickly, but like the girl said, dog was just not ok with men.
I wake up on the couch and it's barely light. I don't wake up of my own accord, I wake up because this dog is slobbering on the side of my face as much as she can reach with me on the couch. Dog is whining, constantly licking me.

I swear to God that dog showed me where the diapers were, the wipes, everything. Dog went and danced around everything I needed. I cleaned the baby up, changed her, held her for a little bit, and the dog was super calm and 100% cool with my pets now.
I left and never went back but I will always remember that little dog that didn't trust me at all the night before but took a chance on my the next day and would not let me stay passed out because the little girl was crying in the other room.
Super fucked up situation in general but that dog was the shit. Most responsible fucking living thing in the house had four legs and probably eats its own puke

Even if I replace the speaker from a telephone, and the keypad stops working a month later, I have voided the warranty already by doing the speaker change as they can't know if the now not working keypad was done because of you or a failing unit.
This is false. They have to PROVE that the repair that you made caused the keypad to fail in other to void your warranty, at least in the USA. Most people are misinformed as you are however, and they'll TELL you that's the case to make you go away, despite it being illegal.
