Yeah! Jump out of the frying pan and into the deep fryer!
Out of all the distros, NixOS would actually be the easiest to convert to Arch or some other distro. Other than /etc, it doesn't use the standard FHS paths so you're free to use some other package manager to install whatever you want under /bin, /lib, /usr, et cetera.
If "everything" means your personal information and data, sure.
If you only care about running containers, containerd and nerdctl should be sufficient.
"Cursor, help me figure out why this request is failing with a CORS error."

Done.
It looks like everything needs to be thrown out and redone. The whole stack. It's not good, it's bloated, it was made by overpaid salary workers.
"What's wrong with the stack?"
The whole stack. Just the stack. All of it.
You're looking at it like the goal is to increase revenue while the actual goal is to increase user counts within their walled garden.
More users makes the investors tingle, and especially when those users are giving 100% of the purchase price to Sony for first-party titles and 30% for third-party.
It sure is a good thing that we don't have "age verification" laws that require devices to self-report the users age, because when those checks get inevitably bypassed the solution would be upgrading to vendor-attested tokens that are tied to Google/Apple/Microsoft accounts.
Oh, wait...
"Fake AI hoax. We ain't fooled easy by corrupt Hillary and the Dems."
Pizza? What is this, a charity? The full-time employees invited to the popcorn party are encouraged to bring their own butter from home.
> FAA prevents SpaceX from launching more rockets
> Musk guts the FAA
> FAA no longer stopping rockets
> Musk decries nobody will stop other people's rockets
You think that's bad? They have four of these "promo" dialogs to push users to the Reddit spyware app.
Fuck Spez.
I consider human life sacred
Like the lives of those cut short by denying treatment so CEOs and shareholders can make more money?
only God may judge us
Oh, fuck off. If God exists and actually cared, he/she/they would have "judged" the guy a long time ago for introducing needless suffering and cruelty.
All you had to do was say nothing, Timmy.
You're an asshole, but only PC gamers had a reason to care—because you tried to buy your way into a dominant position by employing anti-consumer, monopolistic practices like paying for distribution exclusivity deals with third-party publishers.
The best possible choice here, clearly, was to voluntarily align yourself (and by association, Epic Games) with Nazis and pedophiles. I sincerely hope the board forces you to resign, you absolute chode.
Critics argue Musk is driven by conflicts of interest
I'm shocked, I say. Flabbergasted. Nonplussed. Flummoxed.
The rich hypocritical narcissistic shithead is using his status and position to amass even more wealth that he won't ever use in his lifetime? Say it ain't so!
Fuck Musk and everything he stands for.
“I literally lost my only friend overnight with no warning,” one person posted on Reddit
It was meant to be satirical at the time, but maybe Futurama wasn't entirely off the mark. That Redditor isn't quite at that level, but it's still probably not healthy to form an emotional attachment to the Markov chain equivalent of a sycophantic yes-man.
Valve wins by doing nothing... it's a tale as old as time.
Steam's market share is a huge factor in why their competition never succeeds, but it's hardly the only reason. Steam is a whole platform, not just a launcher or storefront. And they're also cognizant that the consumers are not just a revenue source to be milked, but actually long-term customers whose loyalty is important.
It really shouldn't be a surprise that when you enter an established market, you're not going to accomplish shit by providing a lesser service while simultaneously treating the consumer worse.
I'm fine spending money for a quality product.
Quality product. Not DRM-laden, always-online, unoptimized garbage that pushes microtransactions in my face. It's not a price problem; it's a service problem. If I'm going to get a shittier experience as a legitimate customer, piracy is the smart thing to do.
Democratic governments should allow all voices to be heard, not silence speech they dislike.
That's real fucking rich coming from the government that:
Not good enough. His personal wealth is still backed by his ownership in Tesla stocks, and he'll keep profiting and using them to bankroll his fascist fuckery and geopolitical interference.
Force him to sell his shares and divest.
