Eh, sometimes the corporate solution is to add more horses, just not horses that are immediately (or sometimes ever) useful. Horses that have maybe never pulled a cart before or have only ever pulled carts solo. Horses that need a month of training to be able to contribute meaningfully, often through no fault of their own, but are told that this cart needs to be pulled out of the mud in two weeks. And then when the original horses tell the cart driver that it's going to take a month to get everyone up to speed, they completely miss the point and ask how many more horses we need.
Ya know, I'm not so sure that the old comic is necessarily just criticizing flapper girls. The way I understand the bottom text is "These are the qualities that women of these generations need to have to make men want to marry them", so I think it's also saying that the young men nowadays have wacky tastes as well.
If you want to be even more charitable, which is probably undeserved I know, there's nothing explicitly written in the comic to indicate that the artist thinks one side is necessarily better than the other, just that things are different now than they used to be. It's possible that it was created by a young guy who thinks the stuff on the left is lame and old fashioned and the stuff listed on the right kicks ass.
Fuck the manosphere though.
My pro tip for the dad and people wanting to be like the dad is to lead with the important information and then show the meme. Or even better, keep your partner in the loop regarding the stuff you're doing as you're doing it, at least when you're doing this kind of stuff that is on multiple peoples' radars. That way they don't even start freaking out.
Hey now, maybe he's not getting fired (lol) because of what a shit job he's been doing, maybe he's voluntarily stepping down from his dangerous job to be a family man. This is pure speculation derived from his arm being around what appears to be a pregnant person.
For anyone who missed out on learning food safety guidelines at some point, which I don't blame anyone for - Don't thaw your food in hot or even warm water. Even if you don't accidentally cook your food before you meant to, allowing the outer layer of the food to spend time in the temperature danger zone while the inner parts thaw will allow bacteria to start causing trouble. Now, if your frozen thing is small or thin enough to completely thaw in like 5 minutes, you're probably fine using warmer water, but in general, try to keep everything under 40°F(4°C) until you're actually ready to cook it.
Fire gang for life. I love that little flooferpup, and I'm excited to see what kind of bipedal, fire/fighting, rule34-bait dogman it evolves into.
I know it's probably an artistic choice or maybe a lack of budget thing, but I find it weird how textureless these guys are. You don't have to make them realistic or anything, but let the dog look like it has fur beyond the little anime spikes at the tips. Let the bird look like it has feathers. Right now he looks kind of like if a bird put a green bedsheet over his head to be a ghost for Halloween.
Sounds like they did The Monster Fuck
Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you said, but dentists actually tell you not to brush for at least 30 minutes after eating an acidic thing or you'll brush away a small amount of enamel that has temporarily been softened by the acid. So to effectively fuck up your teeth, alternate between swishing lemon juice and brushing.
But you see, the key to the trick is that size has nothing to do with it, nor does weight. It's all about relative densities. The orange is almost entirely water, with just enough other stuff in it to make it sink. Even a bowling ball will float in water if it weighs less than 12 lbs.
I feel like Raspbian deserves a place on here somewhere, although I'm not sure where exactly. It's the distro I've installed the most times since I like to do Raspberry Pi projects, and I imagine there's quite a few people out there whose first major exposure to Linux was for the same reason. So maybe it should go near Welcome Bay?
Batteries don't generate electricity, they store it. And human fat actually is much more energy dense than the lithium ion batteries we have today. It's almost as energy dense as gasoline, but there aren't any animals that produce gasoline naturally. So if the robots needed a good way of storing excess energy (solar?) until they needed it, and they hadn't made any big battery advances by then for some reason, human bodies wouldn't be a terrible option if you had a good way to fatten them up when you had excess energy and have them burn the fat and turn some turbines when needed.
thanks for using Leebra!
