Amazing you can't even be safe from cars while you are sitting in your own damn house. A whole building can't protect you from cars.

Autopilot is idiotic and to blame for this, but cars have been driving through buildings while people are operating too. Lord knows at least a few times a year I see a building where one of the walls or large windows just has a massive sheet of plywood and caution tape covering it because someone plowed their car through it.

There was also an incident in Canada in the last few years where a kid was run over and killed by a car while playing inside the building of his daycare. It came roaring through the window. The inside of a daycare is not safe from cars and that still blows my mind.

Maybe barriers would help some. Also building design that doesn't have enormous windows that are large enough that a car can easily break through. Ultimately though cars are just so dangerous to everyone in general. More trains and accessibility that helps take away the need for cars would be the best solution.

That was me. I was waiting for the sick games and they never came. I didn't touch my PS5 for over a year when I eventually called it and sold it.

Tracking them over 18?! What is wrong with these crazy controlling parents?! I would never think I have the right to do that with my kids at that age.

Let them live their lives and get one of your own you psychos.

FIFA should have to pay for EVERYTHING related to hosting a world cup. The fact that they get to be massive leeches and suck money from these places without spending a dime of their own money is so greedy and gross.

I haven't watched it in forever, but it does feel like something lost.

NHL is basically unwatchable now though with the digital ads on the boards and everywhere. I'll go to a game in person where I can see the game IRL, but as for watching it on TV, that is done for me.

Some developers are idiots and think that the solution is so obvious when it is really not, or that the average gamer will have the time and patience to sus out their complicated design.

I used to feel shamed looking it up, but now I understand it is bad development and design if they created such a poor level that I have to look up the solution to finish it.

Reminds me of Christopher Knight. He straight up lived in the woods. No job nothing for decades. Only got caught because he needed to steal rations from local cabins.

I think this really speaks to, "It's not what you have, it's who you have." You could have millions of dollars and the biggest house in the neighbourhood, but you won't be happy with any of that if you have a partner who is terrible and mean to you.

Happiness comes from finding joy from what you already have rather than longing for what you don't.

The excuse that the GPS led them there is so ridiculous. Even if it did, you should absolutely have the awareness to determine that you can't drive on railway tracks and override that decision.

Drivers need to be held more accountable for the moronic things they do. You make mistakes with gigantic machines and people get hurt or die. It's not a, "whoops."

When I was in college, I remember one of my profs telling me that so many students submit assignments just before the 12am deadline. I always thought it was madness that someone would play it that close to the deadline, but people do.

I loved my Google Home when I got it in 2017, but when I got into home automation, I realized it is dumb to have to tell a device to do things. Motion sensors basically replace the main thing Google Home does and a Bluetooth speaker is cheap to buy.

I never trusted that they weren't listening to me all the time with the speakers and I never looked back after I donated them away.

I had a course where the teacher basically said you would have a hard time passing if you did not have a windows laptop because it was the only OS that worked well with their program.

The program was Excel workbooks
