@americana To all the folks in the Lemmy group, I apologize. I was testing out the whole “follow” and “post” thing from Mastodon.

@margaretgarigan @gardening I’ve grown bushels upon bushels of gorgeous heirloom tomatoes in the last 10 years, but I’ve never been able to get more than a handful of romas each year.

@americana If you’re still onboard the JWH train at this point, you can toss me a vote in the Opening Act contest here: https://theopenact.com/2023/john-ward-hocter. You can vote free each day, or you can make a donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and get one vote per dollar donated. Honestly I don’t have much of a chance to win but it is a worthy cause and I’d appreciate your vote.

Thanks for reading/listening/voting!

@ladodger34 To boost this into greater reach, Molly Tuttle is fantastic. #altcountry #americana

@ladodger34 Rhiannon Giddens’ PBS show “My Music with Rhiannon Giddens” impressed the hell out of me. I had no idea that she was so damned talented. Her and Jason Isbell together is gold! #americana #altcountry

@ladodger34 Replying to boost this into the fediverse at large.

@ladodger34 Replying to get more reach in the broader Fediverse. Wyatt Flores has a very cool sound. Check him out!

It appears that there are still some bugs in boosting stuff from Lemmy.

@ladodger34 Mastodon & Lemmy cross-posting is still a little wonky, so here's the link for the review (courtesy of @verdantsquare).

@americana Look me up on Spotify (https://sptfy.com/OsrY), Apple, Amazon or wherever you listen. I released a song called “Damn Near Died Today” that was named a Finalist in the 2023 Great American Song Contest. Let me know what you think.

If you like what you hear, I have a new single coming out August 4 called “Ain’t Heaven Yet” you can pre-save here: https://ditto.fm/aint-heaven-yet.
