Using TPB is like rawdogging a hooker.

I don't really get what protesters wants to achieve now but only a moron would go back even if they announced that there won't be any API changes, knowing what shit CEO of that shit company thinks about them. Stockholm syndrome is strong in these people.

Sync for Lemmy is expected to have first public release in approx. 6 weeks. That will definitely increase adoption as Sync would make Lemmy look like something not made in a basement overnight.

Thanks to Valve and Proton gaming on Linux is already pretty viable and it's getting better all the time. I am very happy with how compatible Steam Deck is and what's funnier sometimes stuff that doesn't work on newer Windows versions works perfectly on a Deck. Battle.net Launcher installed as a non-Steam app and set to run with Proton allowing me to install and play Diablo IV just like I would on my PC just blew my mind.

That's an awesome feature. Would it be possible to add option so it doesn't color whole comment background but eg. adds color to the username or something?

And why exactly a_knife isn't removed by top mod for that?

I doubt other rich read such things anyway. They already heard it, probably giggled that he really was that stupid and moved on.

I doubt votes wouldn't be manipulated by reddit anyway.

I think after recent example of beehaw defederation it's possible that after instance defederates you lose control over your comments as they don't synchronise anymore.

I find it to be a way better solution than Lemmy for various reasons.

Try kbin for the time being as it's free from this issue. This is mostly why I have migrated from lemmy.world.

At this point everyone knows this man was incompetent in every aspect. Do we really need to read about it once again? People died, that's sad but they were fully aware of the risks. Let's move on.

It essentially means that anyone can just keep making phones like that. Personally I'd take IP67/IP68 over "user replaceable battery" any day as it still can be replaced but to me watertightness is one of the most important features for such device. I already had two "waterproof" phones with replaceable battery but both were leaking water inside (Galaxy S5 and Motorola Defy).

Not his best season.

In my country you just tell the doc that you want opioids and you get them. What's funny despite of that there is literally no problem with opioid addictions. It must be combination of other factors like poverty and lack of education etc. that combined with opioids cause the problem.

It isn't that powerful. They don't have to remove comments or posts if they don't contain any personal data that you can be identified with.

When my parents bought me a famiclone in the middle of 90s (best moment of sad reality in a recently liberated post-commie country).

If I had to pick only one controller to use it would be Xbox One controller (the slightly newer one with BT) as it would cover all my gaming needs for most platforms. I'd pick it over Xbox Series due to to their crappy d-pad "upgrade". On the other hand I hate Dualshock 4 so much I usually play my PS4 using remote play just so I can do it on a Steam Deck or a PC with Xbox controller.

Some time ago most likely yes. As for now I would never go back to reddit.

In Polish it would be "na Małysza". Małysz is a famous Polish ski jumper.
