Yeah I think it will have to come to that, I am usually my own IT guy and did not want to bother our DevOps/IT guy which is loaded with other more important stuff.

But it will have to come to that once it becomes somewhat unbearable.

Will ask him for a backup policy though now that you point that out.

I my personal machine I got a btrfs volume just for that I could replicate that.

OK simplelogin you can make an argument there, very stupid one though.

But protonmail and tutanota, wtf ?!?

Just because an email provider is privacy focused and offers custom aliases means all it's emails are spam ?

Fuck this shit.

There is no doubt that AMD is a better company than NVIDIA in OSS terms.

But don't simp for a company, vote with your wallet and always look for the best and consumer friendly product.

For now, not gonna lie AMD is pretty rad, but I hope next generation Intel GPUs are competitive.

I know IRS or similar entities wouldn't like, but would it be possible to establish a peer to peer service.

No fees for restorants, all extra money to dashers, and clients wouldn't be screwed by service fees.

Honestly looks like a cool project I could look into, but what would be the legality of such services.

And if a FOSS project turns into shit a fork will come up.

One perfect example was simple apps acquisition. New owners turned it a ad ridden mess, fossify apps fork came to the rescue.

I though the whole thing was just a meme, but literally I was arguing with a mate of mine about the state of piracy in my contry and whether or not it was illegal to consume pirated media.

I searched found a post on reddit which linked me to one of my country laws official documents. I showed him the document and phrasing on the law that clearly stated it was only illegal to share/profit from pirated content.

My guy just hited me with "yeah, yeah . . . now ask chatgpt".

Fortunately it agreed with the current law, but like what the hell the I just showed u the official thing.

I don't think he would last long with our current oxygen levels, there is a reason why such giant creatures don't exist anymore.

On top of that like comments said if we just waited out he would starve to dead, even if we were not provided food.

*Edit

Well looks like I was wrong, thx for clarifying that out.

Really though the reason for big animals not being as prevelant anymore was really the oxygen levels Idk where I got that from.

But then it is really weird how the evolution meta didn't evolve back to the huge beasts we see on books, someone said in the comments that it was due to the mammals success, if so it puts things really into perspective.

Devils advocate here.

I/O and storage in those media formats are kinda limited for video games.

Blue-Ray prob has enough storage (at most we could go for multiple disk releases) capacity but still you would have to copy the games to disk.

I think GOG is on right track on this DRM free keep on disk as long as you want no need to check with external servers to play them.

Yeah whatsapp sucks, but I am tired of trying to convincing my family to switch.

Supposedly because of the EU, they are working on interoperability with other apps.

Just waiting to delete that spyware app.
