@srasmus @Aeder Figured I'd chime in as I've been on the #Fediverse for as long as #Gab joined it (as it was, interestingly enough, the first #Fediverse instance I've ever been on!).

The #Pleroma userbase is the most diverse that you'll find on the #Fediverse. You've got crazy alt right folks, gooners, pedophiles, left wingers (usually left wing #Pleroma users will be #trans who just want to self host or be on a super small instance) and more. /1

@srasmus @Aeder A good rule of thumb is to consider muting the ten or so biggest #Pleroma instances if you don't have the stomach to come across edgy or undesirable content while on the #Fediverse.

@zeppo Similarly, because of what has happened in #Russia, #China, #Nazi #Germany etc., most Western nations have regulations on #Communism and #Socialism as well.

There's no perfect system, which is why mixed markets are better than free markets, but #Capitalism is definitely the least worst economic system that's been devised so far.
