He’s talented, but the problem is jobs like pen testing require a LOT of trust to work in. So far this guy has said and shown that he intents on staying in cybercrime rather than doing legitimate work.

As it stands, given how he’s acted, I can’t see a single company that would let him pen test their systems or a red team that would take that risk to their reputation.

Welp, that's one way to teach that the scope is important when pen testing.

The funny thing for me is I swapped to fedora after my last attempt to use arch failed spectacularly.

I've found I'm at a point where I just want my device to work and work well

Love the graphics, but is a plague event every 100 years really necessary?

Still wouldn't address the root problem here: payment processing companies have the power to just deny payment from even happening.

Unless you're referring to making a federated platform that instead allows devs to connect with buyers and make transactions off channel.

Would limit widespread issues like this but now you're opening a whole new can of worms with trust

Just because he's still got a big audience, I do wonder if we'll see any noticeable bumps in the number of linux users.

Probably gonna be temporary, but still makes me curious

Can people who stop trying to throw tech at things where it clearly doesn’t belong? Seems like every time I turn around people are trying to use AI for things with the expectation that it’s some flawless innovation that can do no wrong.

And that’s not even getting into the privacy nightmare that comes with things like this

For me that day was yesterday. Ran an update. Next bootup got a black screen.

Saw it as a sign that it's time to distro hop again lol

Unless his attitude and stance changes, there’s not a single red team that I could see taking him. You can’t just throw someone who wants to be a criminal into pentesting and think it’ll go well

Now I've gotta find a way to implement something like this in my foundry server. That would be amazing!

Is there any way to see a list of whats been removed from both platforms? I know a lot of archiving is going on for Itch, but is there any site that's popped up to show what's been removed on both platforms?

Having a large number of kids was really common during that time period. Back then kids often helped around the house and on the farm; plus it was pretty common for kids to die before reaching adulthood which is another reason for the large number.

It wasn’t until around the 40s or 50s that the 1-3 kids per family became common

Played Civ 5 drunk with a friend once and it was amazing. At some point I ended up at war and realized a good few turns in that I forgot to make military units

I want to participate more with the food banks in my area.

My parents struggled when I was growing up. They'd bend over backwards to make sure my siblings and I always had food on our plates and clothes on our backs. While they're better off now, I still remember the times when they wouldn't eat to make sure there was some for us.

I used to be more active as a teen when I was in the boy scouts, but now that I'm working full time, I want to get more involved again.

If nothing else, people should never have to go hungry

Back in my Reddit days I made a meme for the D&D memes subreddit about how my players decapitated an enemy with a bag of holding

That somehow ended up on the front page of Reddit and I very quickly learned about a TTRPG series called dungeons and daddies that did the same thing
