My boy is 4 and always wants to be a princess, or any female character from TV shows. Its adorable and I don't give a fuck. If he wants to be a she when he grows up, my only concern is hardships from intolerance.

Seems relevant
According to the article the son was in a stolen vehicle, and ran away with a gun in his hand before being shot and killed.
The father after seeing the body cam video went out and killed a deputy who was directing traffic.
The article doesn't say whether the deputy was involved in the shooting, but it's implied he wasn't.
The article, but frankly also the responses here, leave me with a lot of ethical questions. How is this not just incredibly tragic for everyone involved? How can you judge the police's handling of the situation that resulted in the killing of the son as absolutely unjustified based on what was in the article, and how can you be happy that a seemingly innocent person was killed by the father? I'm as sceptical about the police as the next person, ACAB and all, but it's a bit disappointing to see some of the reactions here, based on the information in the article. Perhaps I missed something and this was a George Floyd type situation? And it was the deputy who killed the son who was killed?
If they were politically motivated Trump would be in jail. If anything the investigations were too careful, too scared of being perceived partial. It's understandable being so high profile, but what an incredible blunder not putting the hammer down. Now we've the largest economy in the world run by actual fascists.
We've a lot of cats coming through the garden. I wouldn't mind if not for my dog, who does and goes insane when she spots a cat. So I've been thinking about getting a super soaker to chase them away. I think that's pretty harmless, and perhaps they learn to skip our garden after a while... What do you lot think?
Excel is such an incredible piece of shit. There's many reasons to hate it for me, but what i hate the most is not being able to do relationships in any meaningful way. So often i need to have one to many relationships and this garbage makes it impossible. Data consistency? Nope. Opening a csv? Fuck you! Why the fuck are there online tools that are better at this shit? You had 40 years ffs. No amount of AI is going to fix this turd. God I hate Excel.
I understand the sentiment, but I had the pleasure of working with a great PM on a high profile project in my company and it was really good. The more moving parts and stakeholders there are, the more you're going to need someone to manage the stream of information, set expectations, keep the focus on the end goal. It was very good and I learned a lot from them.
When I was 14 I was on holiday in Poland. We used to go there every holiday, so I spoke a tiny bit of polish. I was on my skateboard on the road, when a police car stopped me, being on the road with a skateboard wasn't allowed. I explained that in my country this was allowed, so they let me go with a warning. Fast forward 2 weeks, I was at a lake camp side in the evening on a borrowed bike without lights when I came upon a police checkpoint. It was the same cops. They laughed and said "we know, you're from {country}!" and they send me off with another warning. Nice cops.
