Mark is very lazy recently. Nothing wrong with that, after doing the same job for so long, it's only natural, but I don't enjoy his content as I used to.

He was always very "science for the whole family" but recent videos seem to skew very heavily into kids content without much clever science content

It's Emily now, she came out on her private channel

Star trek is like an old friend you can talk with for hours. Makes you comfy, makes you laugh, makes you ponder your existence and mortality, and every time you meet they have a new story to tell you.

As to where to start: If you can handle old shows The Original Series is really amazing for what it is.

If you can't then no worries The Next Generation is a safe bet, but maybe try to skip the first two seasons on your first watch, some of the episodes are painfully mediocre, and the show was still trying to find its footing.

If you want a modern show, then Strange New Worlds is currently running and has some qualities of the old Trek

That's sad as once upon the time Android Police was the place to get Android news. Now it's just an endless stream of lists, how to, and robot vacuums.

And he does invest heavily into Brain Computer Interface https://starfishneuroscience.com/team/

His main audience is on YouTube. It's a journalist's job to make an article about it

Isn't it dead? I see only one post (other than this one) from the last month

Historically video games boycotts do not work

I'm not gonna watch the trailer, but I'm very happy that it's getting a second season. I love the "good" Superman content like this and Superman and Lois

If you are running Android <11 then apps could see the list of apps installed on the device https://developer.android.com/...

Pure speculation (and how I would do it) is to have apps A, B, C check periodically the list of installed packages and if one of them disappeared from the list I would trigger this survey. Of course that requires that all apps are from the same developer, and it won't trigger this survey on the last app uninstall

Go in blind, it's good

That poor milk jug is just barely hanging on. Great setup!

The difference is, if you have an iPhone and want to buy a smartwatch/earbuds you will likely pick Apple made ones, as they are artificially made better than the competition.

While on Android you can pick from a bunch of different companies without any real downsides, and when you want to switch to a different phone (e.g from a Samsung to a Pixel) you won't need to switch your smartwatch or earbuds.
