Does anyone else wonder if this might have been a genetically evolved skill for tribal societies? As in, an “outgoing” subset of the tribe hunted all day, returning to camp exhausted and ready for a full night’s sleep, while another subset found themselves activated and ready to keep vigil overnight (or some 1st watch staying up, others waking super early for last watch)? Like maybe having different mindsets like this kept the tribe healthy and protected. Safe from overnight surprise raids by rival tribes thanks to these night watchers and those traits continued being passed on among a subset of descendants as a successful adaptation.

I installed a third-party app to do just this. Great to see I can use this built-in method. Thanks!

I just joined for that specific reason. I hope a decent mass of quality users jump ship too.

I’d bet a lot of the valuable content that users freely gave to Reddit were from users who kept up with it all via RSS. Knocking them out of the picture, plus pissing off the old guard with the constant old Reddit removals, is going to shoot themselves in the foot. I’ve noticed a distinct lowering of quality and standards over there since the whole API mess when a lot of classic mods jumped ship over that choice. Seems like they’re well on their way to ruining what they had.
