You shouldn't. People are more likely to be interested in who you are as a person than your country's politics. You might get some negative bias, true. But you can work pass that.

Being care free. Drinking a beer and smoking down by the river at the age of 15, without the possibility of someone posting it. These days I see kids very self cautious. If you want to calculate the mass of the milkyway it might be reasonable to focus only on these two element, however if you want to study the mass of the planets of our tiny solar system you can probably consider other elements too.

I don't think this is controversial. It's all about the ratios. And this says a lot about your work condition. I got 27 days off annually. Before my child was born I had 26.
