SmartTubeNext is an excellent alternative to the default YouTube app, especially on Android TV.

Just out of curiosity, why exactly is it a step back? I've heard this comment several times but, having only used 1Password 8 (which I quite like), I have nothing to compare it to.

Fair enough, to each their own. I understand why electron apps might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I think some really do work very well (VSCode is the standout).

I also see this 3k subscriber count. By the way, would it be possible to allow the option of sorting by subscriber count, or some metric of activity? Right now I can't really find any logic by which the communities are displayed.

As blatantly anti-competitive as it may be, I don’t want to be in a position where, if I want to pay for something with my phone, I’m forced to use whatever shitty application my bank decides to implement (I’ve had banking applications just decide to stop working for a few days, for no apparent reason; there are banks that have countless applications, each doing something slightly different, with complex, oftentimes downright hostile authentication methods, involving combinations of these apps)

I like the fact that, regardless of card I use, they’re all exposed through the same simple Wallet application, that always works.

I’ve seen that done in Germany, and I was kind of shocked. You could only pay using NFC from the banks’ app.

An even better example is Barcelona, and the money they got for Neymar...
