This. I see a lot of talk about Firefox forks on Lemmy but at the end of the day we need Mozilla to to survive for Firefox and their forks to continue

Sounds like they have no intention to:

And to all the armchair lawyers out there, the letter to Valve did not make any claims that we were violating a US copyright by including the Wii Common Key, as a short string of entirely random letters and numbers generated by a machine is not copyrightable under current US copyright law. If that ever changes, the world will be far too busy to think about emulation.

The general consensus is ublock origin. It's best on Firefox and I've had no issues with it

Glad to see Lemmy is responding quick to exploits. Does Lemmy have a plan to prevent any other exploits that may be lying around such as a routine security audit?

One more time. Fuck Dan Snyder

If you don't want to trust Wagner (and I don't blame you) this part of the article has another relevant fact:

U.S. intelligence said in February that Wagner had at that point suffered 30,000 casualties in Ukraine, including 9,000 deaths.

So this article is from 2021. Does anyone know what actually happened? I'm assuming the source code was never made public and nothing bad happened to truth social but I'd love to be proven wrong.

Does anyone know what exactly happens next if they pass this map? The supreme court wrote that at least two districts need to be majority black but if Alabama ignores this what next steps can be taken considering the Supreme Court is supposed to be...you know supreme

Battle.net has been around since at least StarCraft 1. I'm glad Blizzard is showing signs of throwing in the towel when better storefronts/launchers are available

If you're on a budget I would steer clear of any shoe designed for lifting. What you want to do is look for a shoe with a relatively flat sole and is low to the ground. Chuck Taylors usually fit this description.

I currently use Nike Metcons for most of my lifts but will every now and then I rock my Reebok Lifter PR shoes during a squat session since it feels like I get more depth in those.

I have the Pixel Fold and the wife has a Galaxy fold 4. I think the Samsung's folding phone is a little too narrow closed but having a large screen with you at all times is a real treat

I have a pixel fold. It makes sense to have different home screens but as someone who only keeps two pages (one for my most used apps and one for widgets) I don't mind seeing a combined home screen when I open my fold up

$360 is a little too much for earbuds imo but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on these when price drops or refurbished units come out

I'm not saying I agree with using these either but I heard on TV that the reason cluster munitions were being provided is because those are readily available and the weapons needed by Ukraine can't be met without them at this time.

I hope everyone you know is doing okay but I don't think Google is really flexing that the alert system didn't work. Tech isn't perfect but the system has worked with other earthquakes. If anything we can hope the tech gets better because this event will highlight gaps.

I like how the requirements also list a resolution and fps target. This gives us more insight at what we can expect using the hardware listed

Oh you won't see me disagreeing that he's made bad decisions in the Senate but I do think we should keep some things separate such as politics and wishing someone's health doesn't get worse.

Also an unpopular opinion but I actually don't mind paying for YouTube Premium to avoid the ads. Content creators get a bigger cut from my watching habits and it comes with a music streaming platform.

We are in piracy community though so it makes sense people are against paying for content that once upon a time was completely free.

I sure as hell disagree with Mitch but I do hope he really is fine health wise. That pause did not look good.
