RIP RIF

And fuck u/spez

Hello fellow Seattlites!

I know what you mean. The biggest issue I'm having is finding and subscribing to communities that are not a part of the instance I joined with.

I kept seeing links that listed communities I was interested in subscribing to, but then it would ask me to log in, I'd put in my credentials, only for the log in to not work. I finally realized I had to make a new account with that instance, and then i could log in and join it. I don't want to have to juggle between 3 or 4 accounts to enjoy content, plus much if it is duplicated as some instance are linked, but others are not.

Also I use Jerboa to browse lemmy, don't have a PC, and would rather use an app than my web browser(Brave).

Yea, I was refreshing RIF and it was dead.

Fuck you spez

Thanks, I hate it.

First time I've seen Cody's Showdy posted on lemmy. It was a nice surprise 😁

Been watching this channel for years.

I've been running into this issue as well(also on jerboa). It seemed as though I needed to create a new account attached to the instance I was linking to in order to subscribe to the community. I don't want to have to juggle between 3 or 4 accounts to browse the communities I'm interested

Told my autistic friend about this just now and told him he should celebrate. His reply: "how should one celebrate this?"

They can't. We just need to vote them out, we are the majority.

Fuck yes I like where this is going

God I love a good shaggy dog story. Thanks for sharing this one. It's definitely going into my repertoire.

Just tried it from my lemmy.fmhl.ml account, the account I initially made, and wasn't able to locate !Washington@lemmy.world

It might just be an issue with Jerboa.

Well... new fetish unlocked!

This is brilliant. I applaud you're forward thinking.

Was in the middle of reloading RIF when it suddenly stopped working.

RIP RIF

And you as well!

I plan to do the same if I can figure out how to do it from mobile. I don't have a PC and use Android

I'm really not.

My 22 yr old cousin was in a fatal accident on the 4th and it's got me all fucked

He always talks my ear off about minecraft, pokemon, or skyrim. So that's an every day occurrence lol

God I miss those days.
