This is my first attempt at a vegan cake.

I based it on the recipe from https://www.bbc.co.uk/... and susbtituted the egg for banana that had been put through a liquidiser.

I also used a 3lb loaf tin, rather than 2lb.

It tastes exactly like bara brith, which is good.

I might experiment with using a bit more baking powder if I tried it again.

"Rustic". The word is one of the best things I have learned from The Great British Bake Off. And I use it regularly.
