@thisweekinkde @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social those are a lot of bug fixes! Keep up the good work.

@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social can't wait until my framework laptop arrives 2024 Q1 and I can install arch with plasma 6 on it

@thisweekinkde @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social "Receiving a Plasma notification no longer blocks KWin’s “direct scan-out” feature, e.g. while playing a game, so it should no longer briefly reduce performance (Xaver Hugl, Plasma 6.1.3.)"

After all these years.. THANK YOU! This has literally been the last issues I had with Plasma. If this really is fixed, Plasma is perfect now.

@testeronious not a fan of rounded corners, but it's nice to have it for people who want it. Seems well done and probably a lot of work has been put into this!

@thisweekinkde @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social nice work guys!

@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social happy birthday! 🎂

@01adrianrdgz @Bro666 @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social right when Microsoft said "Microsoft ❤️ Linux", they also announced something big: .NET MAUI. .NET is Microsoft's standard library and runtime when coding C#. It had become cross-platform already, so you can now compile for Linux. Only thing missing was a good UI framework. MAUI was invented to address this. You know what happened? MAUI supports Windows, Mac, Android and iPhone. Not Linux.

Microsoft doesn't love Linux, Microsoft loves using Linux for Azure.

@nirogu @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social have you searched for them on flathub?

@Bro666 @01adrianrdgz @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social holy, didn't know that. That's straight up evil.

@Kidplayer_666 @WeLoveCastingSpellz Create a btrfs snapshot of your current install. You can just revert if something breaks. Or doesn't this work on Asahi yet?
