Quick! You must—
Does personal amusement count?
I am genuinely very confused by this post. Were there really a lot of people who saw the Epstein files and were like, "Oh, so maybe women were telling the truth after all"? Because all of the reactions I have seen so far are either "I knew it!" or possibly "Whoa, this goes even further than I thought!"
It makes me sad that we have reached a point where the very randomness that makes these kinds of stories charming (to someone with a twisted sense of humor like myself) also make them less likely to be coming from a human instead of more.
Yes, in the NSFW version she is forced to drink RAW MILK instead of WHOLE MILK.
Hey, maybe Musk is even right that this will lead to the death of xAI; I do not see a downside in this.
Oh, shoot... please don't tell the cops that I bypassed my breathalyzer so that I could comment on the Internet in the morning without being drunk on coffee first!!!
Yeah, I once talked with a woman who spent several decades being married to a guy who was physically and emotionally abusive to her, but made it clear that she would never leave him because she had promised to stay with him for live at her wedding, but it was okay because things would be better in heaven for her anyway, but not so good for him.
It made me really sad...
No, but in his defense, neither did he live with her.
If this community is just going to be about blatantly political posts from now on rather than shitposts, then I don't really have a need to be subscribed to it since I can already get that from the politics communities that already exist, on top of reading newspapers.
The incredibly selective quote makes it sound like the imagery is being held indefinitely, but according to the article it is only being held for 4 days before becoming publicly available as normal. Furthermore, the hold does not apply to imagery inside Iran.
To quote more from the article:
“In response to the conflict in the Middle East, Planet is implementing temporary restrictions on data access within specific areas of the affected region,” Planet said in a statement emailed to Ars. “Effective immediately, all new imagery collected over the Gulf States, Iraq, Kuwait, and adjacent conflict zones will be subject to a mandatory 96-hour delay before it is made available in our archive.”
Imagery over Iran will remain available as soon as it is acquired, the company said. “This change applies to all users except authorized government users who maintain immediate access for mission-critical operations.”
It is not clear to me why archive.today is so important given the continuing existence of archive.org.
"The abuse of trans people will continue until their mental stability improves!"
FYI, the article was presumably taken down because many of the quotes turned out to have been fabricated, and they said they were investigating this. (I don't think that they are trying to cover up anything, just that they have not gotten around to written an official response yet, given that this is a recent development.)
So it may actually be a mind-altering symbiote?
Something that both Israel and the U.S.A. have in common is that both have been militarily dominant for so long that they have grown to believe that they can use the military as a universal tool to solve all of their problems.
(I feel the need to point out that I once knew some Israeli Buddhists, and they were not at all happy with what their country is doing, so it is important to remember that the country is not a monolith.)
Setting up local celebrations across the country is apparently what America250 is about, but Trump wanted to do his own thing and so he played up the "Freedom250" events that he largely controls as the official celebration instead.
Fun fact about the Freedom250 fair: states are not reimbursed in any way for their participation, which as you can imagine is very expensive, so many of them simply decided not to show up because it was not worth it.
The fact that the Trump administration can create web sites saying whatever it pleases does not make the name change legitimate.
Hey now—some of us are totally human!
The post makes it seem like this was a typical perspective, though. I get that womens' voices are generally not taken seriously enough when it comes to this kind of thing, but if there were one exception to this rule then Epstein seemed to be it because in my experience everyone considered him to be a dirtbag even before the files were released. Have I just been unwittingly sheltered when it comes to peoples' views on Epstein? (Genuine question.)
