Thanks, /u/Spez

I mean sincerely, because of his poor choices, open source software and federated networks made giant leaps

Your username shows that you're logged in on lemmy.world, which has issues with the overwhelming number of new users of the pasg days. You can either wait it out, or create a new account on the countless other instances. I would suggest one that is close to your geographic location.

I agree. A vast majority of the userbase don't mind the countless ads on Reddit or Twitter, on even FB. I think people are leaving FB because it's not cool anymore, not because the UE has gotten worse.

I'm just glad that there now are smaller, more tailored for my preferences alternatives like Lemmy

I don't know if it's the same, but the developer of Relay got a deal where the app will still work until he figures out the API pricing subscriptions.

All NSFW posts will be blocked on all 3PA starting tomorrow tho.

Malgré toute la polémique des dernières années, elle reste a mes yeux une grande féministe. Et j'espère que l'histoire se souviendra de celle qui a su porter la cause des femmes au fil des décennies.

The best just got even better, thanks for everything!

Minor gripes:

• the gesture "remembers" the farthest you go no matter when you actually leave your thumb. (ie if i want to upvote a post and I go a bit too far to the right on the bookmark gesture, and go back to the upvote icon without releasing the gesture, it bookmarks the post instead of upvoting it)

• it would be nice if the downvote action was included in these gestures, for all the beans posts ;).

• I still have the same issue on my tablet (also reported by @OneDimensionPrinter@lemm.ee) about not all subs showing up on the left tab. Everything is fine on my phone.

Sometimes Jerboa gets "stuck" but you should be able to doomscroll using the app.

Otherwise Connect works great

They're by the same director, with a similar artistic approach, but not set "in the same universe."

If you like this kind of french sci-fi I would suggest Tykho Moon or Immortal.

Inflation is killing us in Canada, a make a good salary and I have to check my spending much more than a mere few months ago.

I can't imagine how a family with a average or slightly sub average salary is able to stay afloat

Agree. With the newest update Connect is by a long mile the best Lemmy client available. Keep up the good work!

The fact that we are able to detect galaxies as they were a mere 300 million years after the creation of the universe is mind numbing.

The light emitted by HD1 is as it was over 13 billion years ago. Crazy.

Works fine with me. Maybe ask on their official community. lemmyconnect@lemmy.ca

That's awesome! Oh I miss the good old days of NHL Hockey on PC

Quand j'aurai 80 ans je vais surement en dire encore plus des niaiseries.

A la différence près, évidemment, que personne va oser publier mes niaiseries

alright, have an upvote..

lol, thanks. I wanted to appoint my sh.itjust.works account as mod because the .world server load is unbearable

J'en ai essayé pas mal: jerboa, Connect, Wefwef, Thunder, Liftoff et personnellement, Connect ressortait du lot.

AFAIK c'est encore la seule appli qui te permet d'avoir une liste de favoris.

I sincerely don't know why would someone downvote your comment.
