It's forecast to be 39c with nearly 80% humidity on wednesday in my area, and 38c on thursday with probably worse humidity. So my flat, baking in the sun all day with no insulation or ability to generate through breeze, will be close to 50c with likely higher than 80% humidity, for two days.
I might actually die to this.
So overly sexualised men that are poorly written by women?
I'm going to guess this would mainly happen in romance/romantic fantasy novels, and probably Twilight?
I don't know if there's much of a demographic crossover between readers of those types of books and the fediverse? I could be wrong, idk.
From what I've gathered no, as 'roadman' means a hard guy who deals drugs and that sort of dangerous machismo is appealing to young men, hence so many of them emulating the look.
Chav wasn't gender or age specific, so had a much wider catchment for who it could describe.
I really don't know what the new 'chav' is though, you'd have to ask a teenager.
White, blond, christian, healthy/strong, smart (glasses?), nationalist/proud of being Polish, badass winged hussars are badass and possibly also some 'empire' type sentiments regarding the former commonwealth with Lithuania?
I have some family like this in Poland and I know some Polish history, so this was a semi-educated guess based on that.
I'm still leary of most anime fans, and cartoons are hands down my favourite thing to watch.
So much anime is seriously misogynistic and creepy about how it depicts women and girls and I've met far too many people who like that shit and see nothing wrong with it.
There's obviously a lot of anime (more so now) that doesn't do this, but there's plenty more that does but only a little bit and only because it's a 'trope' and a 'cultural thing', and you just need to ignore it as the rest of the story is really good.
Ah. I'm not actually Polish and my Polish media knowledge is kinda limited to 1670 qnd a few other random Polish netflix shows and Bolek i Lolek, lmao, so I really have no idea.
I do have a dickhead of a cousin though who looks just like that, so it's probably just a stereotype as I doubt Marek has enough imagination to be an individual.
(1670 is fucking hillarious btw, fully reccomend it)
Secondhand anglepoise lamps with clamps so they can be attached up high for bigger plants, and the cheapest and brightest white bulbs I can find in multipacks, are what I use.
I have 60 plants (currently), mostly tropicals and succulents, and they've been thriving under these lamps and mostly without natural light for nearly a decade now. My monstera is fucking massive, to the point where every year or so I remove a section of at least 3 or 4 leaves to keep it able to fit in my flat.
You really don't need to be shelling out for fancy lamps or bulbs to have most plants grow indoors!
thanks for using Leebra!
