That's normal. On BIOS systems the stage 1 bootloader (which is what this command installs) is always i386, see https://wiki.archlinux.org/... .
What surprises me is that the installer runs in BIOS mode, because your system should be recent enough to use EFI. When you boot into the installer, you should make sure to select the boot entry that has EFI in its name. That might be the problem, but without seeing the output of grub-install, it's hard to tell.
Yeah, when you grow your hair out there is this awkward phase where it isn't long enough to tie it back. You can wear a sweatband, that will keep them out of your face at least. But even when they're longer, they'll still annoy you sometimes. When it's windy, you constantly get hair in your mouth and face. That's why I always have a hair tie on me.
Cool, I also joined recently and I find Lemmy to be much nicer than reddit. Every community seems just more positive.
But there are many people here that want this to be the next reddit and that worries me a little. Every now and than, when I scroll through the feed, I see a post that reminds me of the bad old times on reddit. Thankfully it doesn't get as much engagement as on reddit, and the responses are a lot more reasonable.
But I have to say: if you want this platform to be reddit, and you succeed, you've just rebuild the platform you were running away from. That should not be the goal
We've had no heat at the beginning of the week, thankfully that got fixed today. Had to take a cold shower yesterday :-D And now the supply valve for the washing machine started leaking. So yeah, a bit stressful, but that's life. It could be worse.
thanks for using Leebra!
