Minute change: remove the XP unit from the EXP row. The other metrics don't have a unit. ๐ And EXP and XP are a bit redundant together like that. ๐
@lemmy.world
I never really understood why people feel the need to act like that towards one another online. Mocking each other, being sarcastic, name-calling and whatnot.
I say, let's act towards each other like we would act towards another person on the bus, at work. People we don't normally talk to or know well, but who we come across. I think most of us wouldn't talk like that towards strangers IRL. Or at least I should hope not.
If we can be kind when anonymous IRL, we can be kind online I'm the same way. I'd say that's worth striving for.
My pleasure, pal! And happy cake day! ๐
You've used the word "physiological", brother.
Thanks, I see where the mishap occurred, that was a swipe type typo. Corrected to "psychological". ๐ Probably a huge source of confusion between us, unfortunately.
But since you just want out of this, let's indeed cut it here. You're not representing my arguments in a correct light at all, and I'm probably not representing myself well in this conversation either, so it's better to just say adieu. ๐ค We're probably just talking past each other completely (myself included as also guilty, most likely).
I'm gonna continue watching Fear The Walking Dead. ๐ Have you seen that shit? That shit fyre. Hoping there's some tie-ins to The Walking Dead, which I just finished.
Yes they do. Otherwise we would never discover anything. Unless one would mean that the people who have discovered everything that has ever been discovered were also the creators of those things. And that seems far-fetched.
Does existence only count if there is an observer to observe it? I don't understand this notion.
I think about this every time I drive long distances, passing through forest.
"That tree over there is just standing there, all hours of every day, winter and summer, just waiting. Then I drive by it for 2 seconds. Then it still stands there, waiting."
Similarly I think of rocks rotating in silence around planets, stars. Or orphan rocks around galaxies, in darkness, and also silence. They're just there, for millions of millennia. Without anyone's knowledge. But surely they exist.
Just because I used the word "psychological" in a sentence when talking to you doesn't mean I'm saying you have a disorder, lol, wtf. Definitely putting words in my mouth, and/or projecting, who knows.
You're still not understanding what point I'm making. All I'm saying is that you've acted since our first interaction like I wasn't entitled to saying the show is pretty good. You said "he's a dumbass though". THOUGH. You understand the meaning of that word in its context? It's the same meaning as "but". As in you are objecting.
So, no, I'm still not seeking validation (so drop it), and I'm still not trying to validate my opinion. I'm just saying that you're putting your opinion against mine like yours is a fact that makes the show worse, when that isn't the case. I don't know if you've noticed you've done this. I say this to you but you are glossing over it each time. Just like I bet you will this time.
11+ year old account here. ๐๏ธ
I deleted my only account before I could get any sort of ban. Fโk that whole site, bro. I don't miss it.
The only thing that irks me is when people link me to a Reddit post. Then I see some comment that makes an incorrect statement (there's one in each post), and I'm unable to reply and correct them. ๐
Nope, you're overthinking it. I'm not saying you have a disorder.
And I don't seek your validation, I already told you that.
My god this is long winded.
The first comment made in reply to me was "he is dumb though" as if it is wrong to say the show is good.
Though.
Tell me how that comment isn't expecting others to agree with that opinion? Did you notice how that's what I reacted to from the start?
It's not usually posts that are completely wrong though. Usually subtly wrong or have some small detail incorrect. The ones I'm talking about don't seem like bot accounts or bait. They seem like they're well-intentioned but just have some small misconception about what they're talking about. ๐ Those are the ones I care about correcting because those are the ones that seems like they actually want to spread truth.
But, alas. It's Reddit, so I will not interact. It is forever dead to me.
