Not exactly the same, but our house has a painting on the back door that the previous owner had done for their spouse that we decided to leave there when we moved in.

As someone who works in a service job, people like this are very appreciated! Too many people just see a robot that exists only to serve their every whim and couldn't possibly have thoughts and feelings of it's own.

And to the people that say it's our job to make customers happy, yes it is. But you may find that by trying to brighten that worker's day they may go out of their way to make sure you have a superior experience. I certainly do, and when I'm the customer I've often found it to be the case as well.

I really like the style of their products! I'm tempted to try to make something similar to those nightstands sometime.

I watched all the TNG movies this week. Debating whether I want to watch the kelvin movies or something else now.

They have a different tone than the series. I don't think they're as good as the show but I think still worth watching if you liked it. I was talking to someone on last weeks post and I agree with their take that Star Trek works better as a show. The movies are usually trying to be epic action instead of the characters and stories they explore in many of the episodes.

The concept sounds intriguing, I might give the series a try.

It amuses me as well, especially since I sometimes enjoy the sound of the "low end" products more than the "high end" products. I'm sure I would enjoy having high end guitars and gear as much as most anyone else here, but the obsession with that type of thing is a little ridiculous. And there is definitely no excuse for the bashing of people that don't buy the pedals or amps that are currently trending.

Not really, maybe WOK. I liked the movies but there is always a few things in each one that I don't like. It's not as big a deal in the show because it's just a episode and you start over with the next one.

Yeah, I think it works best as a show too.

I decided to watch the Kelvin movies over the last few weeks. I've never been a big fan of them but they're all right for some quick entertainment.

I don't have a lot of experience with really nice guitars, but I really enjoy the two cheap ones I currently own!
