Do want to point out the UK act is such a unworkable mess that it is likely to collapse under its own weight just look at the last UK age verification law that was delayed over and over again until it was quietly scraped. And it's likely Ofcom will struggle to get the OSB up and running

Also there alot of bots going around Reddit saying the protest is not working and all the subreddit mods are going to be easily replaced, with who I don't know.

Yeah and I still trust Firefox way more then Google.

Agreed hopefully Lemmy will grow it be huge or atleast threaten Reddits dominance!

Do you think they will move to lemmy?

Yeah the Yakuza subreddit is one of the best niche ones out there.

If Google does push this how soon could they start implementation?

If you want to help stop this bill contact your lawmakers here.

Awesome! tho do you have a user friendly link? i'm getting "404: couldnt_find_community" when I click the link.

Hopefully Google does not implement it seeing there huge backlash.

Do you think Google will fully implement this in the end?

You can opt out of it?

Can you opt out?

Tho hopefully Google is force to stop this seeing how much backlash there is.

Do you think Google will implement this in the end?

That very very unlikely.

How likely is Google to implement this?

It works now thanks!

Still not showing up for me
