For your engineering degrees, you'll definitely want to have some sort of home engineering lab to apply the theory you learned to real-world applications. With an in-person university, they'll provide all the equipment you need on-site.
Something that has made Posteo pretty appealing to me so far is how flexible its pricing is. I get to pay for more feature when I need more stuff.
Engineers aren't known for being social beings :p
The younglings may call it Legacy Edition, but it's still Peak Edition in my heart.
Also nice shade of red.
...what
Wireshark can do USB protocol analysis?????
Checked the video again. He used a Keysight DSOX1204G Digital Storage Oscilloscope.
Been doing some digging now knowing about logic analyzers and I found that RIGOL has some oscilloscopes with digital channels that are within my budget range (needs the RPL1116 probe to function). Though they're bandwidth is 100MHz for the one's I could find that are under 500-1,000$. Would this be enough at least for USB 2.0?
Oh didn't notice Tutanota allowed unlimited aliases as well. From what I read OK Posteo's FAQ, Posteo doesn't allow custom domains because it would be personal information and even if you just had the MX record, it'd still be traceable in some way.
I personally create an alias for each account I create using my subdomains but have been thinking about using my custom domain a bit more. Only have my Matrix account using it lol. Was also thinking of splitting up my mailboxes a bit since each service has their own solution, but I'll see if that works for me lol.
I'm trying to learn electrical circuit design and programming and want/need an oscilloscope for obvious reasons (I already have most of the basic stuff such as a soldering station and a multimeter). I know I want to work with various ICs, FPGAs, and of course stuff like USB to plug stuff. Though budget isn't that extravagant, I should have decent wiggle room (I suppose totals of below or around 700$ is fairly manageable at the moment).
So far the best solution for me has been using SimpleLogin since they're paid plans allow unlimited aliases and custom domains (and also comes with my Proton Unlimited subscription). I know Posteo and Tutanota have their own solutions but SimpleLogin has been more flexible in my experience. Yet to try out Posteo's and Tutanota's solutions.
The one Ben Eater was using was a Keysight 200MHz, I think with 2GS/s sampling.
thanks for using Leebra!
