Can’t wait to see the fallout of when all these databases are eventually compromised and all the collected personal data is exposed. That will be a great time for all involved.

I feel like the quality of life improvements of the iridium axe and pick are worth it.

The main hope of a library is that people will have access to the materials they need and not get blocked by arbitrary low checkout limits. The limit is mostly just to keep one smart ass from checking out over half the library. If you have a smaller library, it may make sense to have a smaller checkout limit. As one who works at a library with a max checkout of 100 items, very few people ever check out that many items and the ones who do are usually super homeschooler’s who use a ton of children’s books in their curriculums. That or people who are working on a very large music collection. Most libraries also use self check units, so staff may not even know if someone is pushing their limit. As long as the books come back and in one piece, they also don’t usually care as increased circulation can actually help library funding.

Sioux City. Not the best cream soda I have ever had, but not bad for being on sale.

This is one of my favorite things to randomly rewatch. That and their Dice Friends series, specifically the ones with Dale as the DM. M The other game leads are great, but I love the way he runs his games.

A lot of businesses and libraries block the ports needed to torrent or do much of anything beyond basic web access. Some places, especially libraries, will also have web filters in place to further complicate access to torrent sources. Even if by chance you could find a place that has those ports open and can get past the filters, as others have said, it is still possible for them to have enough information to identify you.

Ebooks are a fun hell to order for a library. Many do have an end of life either in the form of maximum number of checkouts or under a license of 1-2 year access. They have all the same restrictions as normal books so patrons still have to wait to access the magic pixel arrangement. Ebooks are also generally just more expensive, even with the limitations. I have seen several above the $100 range, and many of those still have some form of end of life. If you ever wonder why your libraries ebook collection is a little slim, it is because they are incredibly cost prohibitive to maintain.

This makes me wish I liked black licorice more. If I ever have sambucca on hand, I may see if I can find the recipe and give it a try anyway for the experience. Thanks for the suggestion.

It is easier to sell propaganda when you don’t have anyone challenging your actions. The MAGAsphere won’t hear about the press being banned from asking questions and if they do, they will just assume it was to purge the “woke” media from the room. If someone asks a legitimate question that even some republicans might want an answer to and the refuse to answer, they look weak or as if they are hiding something. They are already struggling to maintain their preferred optics on Iran, they would rather not make it worse.
