I think you need to select safer places to live in the Philippines, if that is what you're worrying about. Like check faultlines and hazard maps before buying a property in NCR. People-made disaster na lang iisipin mo, nyahaha. Palawan generally safer from earthquakes naman. Rare din ang typhoons dati, pero lately padami na.

Lemmy.ml wasn't accepting new registrations anymore. They, in fact, recommended everyone to register somewhere else. Believe me, I tried so many times. Stupid me even went to Lemmygrad.ml, lol.
Lemmy.world allowed anyone to just sign up and start posting without the "intricate" steps of looking for "!pilipinas@lemmy.ml". It's an instance that's also handled well, being able to take on larger traffic in the last few days.
Lastly, and this is just a bonus since I wasn't aware of it at the time I made the community: lemmy.world is free (or strives to be) of the tankiness usually echoed by communities under those instances. What do you guys think about homeschooling? Am worried for my 4 year-old niece kasi balak i homeschool ng parents niya. Baka lumaking mahiyain at takot sa tao. Sheltered na sheltered din. And sa mga sobrang successful na tao parang wala pa ko narinig na homeschooled sila during their childhood. Kung ako lang sana parent nun eh kahit sa miriam ko na lang pagaralin, malapit pa sana sa house nila.
