I'm glad I quit reddit, it was way too big for its own good. Even when most people who participated in the blackout go back, I will be severely limiting my time there. I'm excited to see the same communities popping up I liked to see on reddit, and hopefully with a smaller userbase we can stay active!

I guess that applies to me. I'd been thinking of quitting reddit for a few months and this was a good impetus. I do like the niche hobby communities though, so I'm hoping this place will scratch that itch. The Battletech sub was one of my favourites.

Still planning on lurking on some subreddits but I plan to shift all my participation here. Some of the smaller subreddit communities are still useful but reddit as a whole has been garbage for over a decade.
