How useable is iOS 18.0 DB4?

I read about a really annoying dimming issue, not sure if that’s affecting everyone though. Is it stable enough, how’s battery life?

No impact to battery life that I’ve observed so far but a few of my Automations don’t work (setting White Point on Sleep focus doesn’t work at the moment).

Photos is crashing sometimes too. The new Dark Mode flipping icon colours and some icons going solid white.

It’s buggy; it’s beta. Don’t use it if you’re looking for stability.

Not personally but I did restart my phone a few times today cause of the other bugs so it might be something that emerges after the device has been on a while.

Additional question: Developer beta for 18.0 seems like a dead end right? Is the 18.1 beta stable, or did it introduce some weird bugs with the addition of the „AI” to a small portion of users?
