I got up and walked away from someone on the ferry who kept coughing wetly. I can only hope she was recovering from something, but I was not taking the risk.

Oh man, employee goals crap is the worst. I used to take them seriously, but after a decade at my current employer they've proven that they're not worth a damn. NOBODY here takes them seriously any more, even my manager acknowledges it's all worthless and any goals or aspirations or training plans or targets will be ignored by the powers that be anyway. It's just a box ticking exercise here.

I don’t know much about dogs. But I saw a harness where the leash attached at the front of the dog’s chest. Maybe that was to turn them back around or to the side each time they raced ahead of the owner/pulled. Kind of as discouragement or to make it harder to act up.
