It's not designed to run Linux to the exclusion of running windows πŸ˜…

My impression is that framework originally actually kinda saw Linux and the open source community as a bit more of an afterthought, until they realized how appealing their product was to open source folks, and have since done a really good job of treating Linux as a first class OS options just like Windows
