@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net desktop icons? What for?

I still take a bit of time to choose a desktop background, but I rarely see the desktop anywav!

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net Desktop... icons? I don't understand. :ablobcatwink:

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net There are icons on the desktop?!?! 😮

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net
On Windows: only the system icons and a few software shortcuts.

On Linux: only removable devices icons, when mounted.

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net desktop icons are so untidy - tiling window managers ftw.

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net My work computer is more of a mess. My home systems vary. The Linux machines are pretty sparse on the desktop, the Windows partition of my laptop is a bit of a mess.

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net Desktop icons? What's that?

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net
The only desktop icons are minimized programs. Rarely more than two, so not much to organize.

@Vivaldi, what are desktop icons? Never use it, not even the recycle bin. Some icons in the Task bar where they should be.

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net no desktop icons, no problem

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net Life has enough mess to handle to replicate in a desktop. No no. Never ever.
Allways calm and clean ✨ at first sight. 😅

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net very few icons, but organized.

@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net Да, организую.
