Had a dream last night I was overdressed

I got called to HR and the lady there informed me that they had gotten several complaints about me being overdressed. She emphasized, "We do medium dress here."

I look down at my button-up shirt and khakis. Seems "medium" to me. I ask for clarification.

"It's between semi-casual and business casual."

I ask her to clarify what I'm doing wrong.

She says that I should "dress medium".

Never got an answer.
